Yes but he won’t have control anymore. Previously he had control of the majority of shares via some shady deals back in the day. Now he won’t.

Idk about that, consolidating the WoW controls onto a controller in a way that is comfortable for people to just pick up and play would be difficult, I know there are people doing it on PC already but they are in the minority and I doubt it’s intuitive enough to be the main control method for a platform. But if an Xbox release had prominent disclaimers saying that it was best played with a mouse and keyboard then I suppose it could work, and it would open the game up to a larger market.

It would fall under that umbrella naturally. Considering that the head of Xbox has put in considerable effort to improve that platform, having a similar person taking over PC exclusive titles would do wonders for WoW.
