Are there any addons or masque skins I can use to replace or revert the micro menu icons? I’m having a LOT of trouble adjusting to them since Blizzard made the bizarre decision to make them all the same color.
EDIT: the it’s now an addon out for this:

Weak Auras has those icons in its library. You could make fixed icon overlays for them with that.
How easy is that to do? I’ve always avoided using WeakAuras.

First write down the button frame names on the system bar, exactly as they appear when you do a /framestack (/fstack) command and roll over them. Those are variable names and capitalization matters!
Then open WA and create a static group and name it something appropriate.
Then create a new texture, name it something appropriate for the second button on that bar (the first one is a special case).
Pick a texture from the selections (different categories - dig around).
Save that (I think it’s just the “okay” button - not in game at the moment).
Size it to match the button itself (you can alter height and width).
Then scroll down a bit and look for placement.
Select “Choose Frame” and they type in the exact name of the button that you wrote down earlier.
Lather, rinse, repeat for the rest of the buttons except for the first one.
For the first one you have to put your portrait over it. I’m not in game right now, but there is a player portrait option in there somewhere. Same procedure on sizing and placement.
That’s it. I may do it myself later and publish it - I haven’t made it a priority, but I see enough folks wanting it that it might get some traction.
Thank you! I couldn’t find the exact icons but I was able to get something reasonably close for now, though I couldn’t find the portrait option. It looks like this now (I’m also using Bartender to move and resize the micro menu):

That’s what I have. It’s a WeakAuras import. It has dynamic information for your character on the first button and a selection of icons I picked for the other. It’s not perfect. I really should put some backdrops behind them to block out the gray stuff peeking through, but it’s better than nothing.
I couldn’t upload to wago.io
because they’re in read only mode right now.
I imported your WA but for some reason the player portrait isn’t working, it doesn’t display anything.
Edit: I figured it out, I gotta play around with the Z-Offset, it’s working now. Thank You!
Someone has made an addon that changes the buttons to their previous art:

Thank you for this! It just looked so much better before the changes for DF.
