Hey there,

Looks like both of your WinMTRs show issues starting in the transtelco.net network before it reaches the Blizzard network. I see that you’re using the Totalplay ISP in Mexico, so that is the common factor.

If anyone else using Totalplay in Mexico is experiencing issues connecting to WoW servers please feel free to post your WinMTR here. Or on the Spanish forums as there should be a thread there too.

I was able to play earlier today for a couple of hours, I got disconnected for no apparent reason and haven’t been able to log back in. Sometimes the game manages to load my character but kicks me out a couple of seconds afterward, most of the time I don’t get past the loading screen or even reach the character selection screen.
I’m using the same ISP I’ve had for the past 2 years. First time this has happened.
I’m able to stream movies.
I’m able to connect to other game services (steam, epic).

Update: It’s not just WoW. I tried Overwatch and it’s disconnecting me as well.

I moved your post to this thread since it looks like your WinMTR is matching up with the others here. Looks like there are some issues with the transtelco.net network which your connection runs to to get to the Blizzard network.

Looks like im having an issue the second I connect into the blizzard network. tons of packetloss there. Any ETA on when will be fixed?

Experiencing the same issue, everything else has a stable connection except for blizzard games.

Hey Lowlifescum,

Looks like Megacable in Mexico is also using transtelco and is being affected by this. No ETA yet, but we’re definitely looking into it.

Hey, Anansi! We haven’t seen any recent reports elsewhere, but we’ll continue to monitor for new reports on the issue.

Could you provide a new WinMTR test? Run this test until the problem occurs for 5 to 10 minutes. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:

I vpned around the problematic network and after proxying my connection through there i haven’t had any issues. In fact i shaved like 25 ms off my connection. Just wanted to share in case others want to try that solution out.
