Things were so much more simpler when we had Master Loot and the top 0.0001% (who shouldn’t even be designed around) just funneled gear however they liked.

all of that prep effort is washed away by going 4-5 resets of getting consistent 415+ from mythic bosses and weekly chest. Like 99% of the actual mythic raiding guilds.
Anything Method does is a complete non-issue to the game. They are literally getting paid to do it anyway from their streaming/sponsers.
What the world first guild does to prepare for raid is not what everyone must do for any sort of Mythic raiding.
I did none of that, and I do raid Mythic.

All they did was cement the advantage these top guilds already had. Please do understand however, I’m in no way trying to diminish the insane amount of work, nor the tremendous individual and groupwide skill required to push content of this level as quickly as they do. Method, Limit, Big dumb guild and all of those top guilds have a lot of respect from me.

Materials for the tradeskills they needed to max out for 400ilvl equipment across a bunch of their mains and alts.
What bothers me is that not every guild that was in the world first running was capable of pulling something like Method and Limit to an extent did. Skill has always been the defining factor, but gear is starting to creep up, and it’s a bit startling to see how between that and Method race changing to Trolls, and Limit faction changing to Alliance, then back, may become a precedent for future races. It doesn’t seem like fun anymore; certainly not treated as though we were all playing a video game…
