Wago you will see their EMBED on every page. Literally all you see is the chat and barely see video. 4k viewers and barely anybody talking in chat. Like once every 5 min. I said they were using EMBEDs on wago in chat and got instant Timed Out for 30min and message deleted. Now perm banned in chat, Pls get this message out. After the 2020 drama you would think they would have learned but they are still scamming sponsors and pushing NFTs. While there are people out there doing RWF legit and cant be seen because people like this want to pay money to get their crappy stream on websites like wago and have inflated/fake viewers. About 90% of their viewership isnt real.

Look, you’re not gonna find anyone who really cares about this on here, but just know that this has already been a pretty hot topic circulating around Twitch as a whole as a result of all the Fextralife drama and hopefully something ends up being done about it on that front.

Yep just trying to get message out because even Method is doing it which is sad. They have to pay real money to 3rd party websites to even be relevent while there are people doing it legit but cant get views because you got Scumbags scamming sponsors.

Yea I mean this whole “abuse early, abuse often” motto kinda points to it.
Why wouldn’t they use a system if they can profit from it.
I’m not even surprised.
Frankly, if somebody is still willing to buy NFTs now that they’re all worth as much as a jpeg, they deserve to get taken for a ride.

Wouldn’t something like this better be posted on subreddits and Twitter? If you really want to spread the message, the WoW forums are not the best place. At least not the US forums – maybe try the EU forums.

I’m not sure if this is a wow related issue or not for general discussion? But at the same time i’m surprised as always that people are still falling for NFT’s the biggest scam to human kind. I say let peeps fall for it, lets watch the world burn. For only those who fall for the nft’s are rich people anyways. And having less rich people means less bribes towards politicans and better life for your average citizen.

I’m not sure if this should be surprising. It doesn’t only affect sponsorships so it may not be the reason they do it but it also affects how many viewers you get. Higher view counts affect how many people drop in to watch you which means if other people do it you have to do it too in order to compete. Twitch simply needs to release a statement officially banning the practice so people don’t feel pressured to do it.

Twitch seems to have already been made aware of it, so I’m sure they’ll action it.
When was twitch supposed to fix this? I know they were going to disable auto-play in embeds at some point, but not sure when that goes into effect.

really still waiting on twitch to disable these damn things, specifically extra sick of Fextra getting bloated, fake numbers that push them to the top of channel categories for games and being incentivized to continue making garbage, half filled misinformed wikis for any game they can get their paws on and then buying the top google search for it.
People are still pushing NFTs after they’ve all nearly dropped to being valueless?
