Method is RUINING the Game [Part 2] "No King Rules Forever"

I am getting tired of these self-absorbed narcissistic peacocks thinking they friggin’ OWN this game!

You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting “METHOD WORLD FIRST”, “MeThOd UBER OMEGA we beat this game”, “World of Methodcraft”, “Method just destroyed all the competition BECAUSE WE WUZ KANGZ”, Every SINGLE freaking day on twitch the first 3 Rows are just Method Josh, Method Adam, Method Trevor, Method Tyrone, Method ‘I have no idea who half of these people are’, Method “How to roast Limit over barbeque”.

HOW THE HELL DID LIMIT LOSE???

They had higher Item level, they spent $9,000 dollars on faction changes…all that money down the toilet, why don’t you invest in Activision-Blizzard stock while you’re at it!

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE…

Limit, didn’t even come in second place…that’s right, a 2 Horse race between Method and Limit, and these guys came in 3rd!!! Because Method decided to rub a pound of salt into that wound and they did Mythic Jaina TWICE before anyone did her once!!

Who the Hell comes THIRD in a two horse race??? Tottenham Hotspurs???

So now Limit, Exorsus, Paragon…all champions of their time…having been slain by Method…now Method will just keep winning because all their competition is dead…PRESIDENT ADMIRAL GENERAL FOR LIFE BANANANA REPUBLIC Method!!!

Congradulations Method! You win, you’re better than all of us…you’re so awesome, I bet you’re the kind of people who park a Ferrari at McDonalds just to get attention…and you take up TWO parking spots because you need to OVERCOMPENSATE!

How did we get here?

Remember the good ol’ days when there were no E-sports? Whats dat? Yeah…remember when…People…and not Professional freakin’ athletes played these games?

Those were the good days…anyone could compete in any tournament, there were no International E-sports conglomerates that HOGGED all the wins…(ain’t that right Method?)…and people played games because games were fun…I know…that’s difficult to understand nowadays.

GUESS WHAT? We’re not allowed to play World of Warcraft anymore…

Elitist: “UHHHH, link Raider io score, link achievement, link armory, link this, link that…”

WANNA SEE MY CAR INSURANCE WHILE YOU’RE AT IT?

I don’t pay $15 a month to do friggin’ bureaucracy in a FANTASY GAME!!!

But seriously, all Blizzard cares about is E-sports…E-sports are not FUN! They are boring, sterile, and you WATCH people play your game…I should instead be PLAYING the game.

I will explain very quickly why E-sports and Fun don’t go in the same sentence.

8 Hours Alterac Valley back in Vanilla was FUN, 8 Hours Alterac Valley on Twitch = Dead Stream.

Twitch is about doing everything fast, everything has to be done perfectly, or else people stop watching.

This is not SONIC! This is World of Warcraft, you can play a fun game and TAKE YOUR TIME…being rushed in an MMORPG, RUINS the experience of immersion because everything just zips right past you before you know what’s happened.

And also, Perfection
E-sports athletes do everything so perfectly, perfect class combos, perfect meta, perfect plays…where’s the fun in that?

Where’s the fun in everyone doing the exact same thing, and having the exact same class builds, pressing same buttons in same order…ZERO Individuality.

Back in Vanilla a mage solo’d Naxxramas.
A Ret Paladin solo’d Kazzak.
Shaman tanks…yeah they existed back in Vanilla.
And people did all these cool things because they tried different item and talent combos, in a game that had Metric Truck Tons of customization.

Nowadays everything is all about that “Cookie-cutter” build, everyone plays the exact same spec, exact same talents off Icy-veins, exact same boss strategies…ZERO CUSTOMISATION AND INDIVIDUALITY.

We Are NPC’s, we all do the same thing. That is not a game, we are just the Borg Collective

And we watch E-sports Athletes do their thing, and we just copy paste because we are not human beings, we are brainless robot zombies.

And Blizzard is gonna keep making World of Warcraft entirely about E-sports, and their players will continue to be shallow uncreative robots that copy paste whatever Method is doing, and METHOD, they will keep getting World Firsts because there is no way to compete that doesn’t involve leaving your job for 3 weeks, and literally banging your head against a brick wall for hundreds of wipes, until something works out.

Why can’t World First Races just be a bunch of players coming home everyday, they try the new raid, try different strategies, and figure it out as they go along, unlike today where the Boss guides are out BEFORE the Raids have even been released.

I hate how the PTR has become a practice session for the Hardcore guilds, they spoil the entire raid, and once the raids are released, it feels like old content because you’ve already watched it dozens of times over on twitch.

Blizzard stop making E-sport games, nobody cares.
E-sports are for watching (Eyes)
Video Games are for playing (Hands)
I wanna play with my Hands Blizzard! Not my Eyes!

Make a game that I will play…I don’t wanna watch others play my game for me…you go over to somebody’s house and see them playing Halo, I wanna play Halo too, not just sit there like an idiot, watching them have all the fun.

Finally…
Why does everybody act all suprised when Method gets World First?

It’s not like they win ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME!

I honestly don’t get this fake on-queue congradulations everyone does…probably everyone has gotten so used to congradulating them so many times that now it’s just a Pavlovian response.

Just my 2 cents.

Conclusion:

Method wins again, and they will keep winning until human civilisation is wiped out.

World of Warcraft is a boring game designed entirely around E-sports, all about that flashy neon “go-go-go” fast paced anime action game, and not a “take your time to immerse yourself” deep, rich, and customisable game like Wow used to be.

I have only 1 thing to say to both Method and Activision-Blizzard…

“No King rules forever”

They did not spend 1 dollar.

You seem to be pretty unaware of how everything worked. Method also donated a ton of proceeds (if not all) to charity.

Edit: Wait a second. I fell for it. This is the guy that makes long winded “satire” troll posts. Just ignore and move on.

pretty sure limit had lower ilvl

https://wow.heroeshearth.com/b/Tagzz/read/what-happened-to-limit-on-jaina/

Similarly on Blockade, while we did secure the first kill, we took 80 attempts. It must be said that since guilds are now killing the boss in 5-10 attempts for the first time I’m not sure it would be the same if they had to come up with their own strategy, but clearly in the end the other strategies presented for that boss were better than ours. After all, one thing is clear: Battle of Dazralor was a 1 boss raid. Everything else was woefully undertuned. The classic response to that statement would be that Blizzard doesn’t tune bosses for the top 0.1%, and that we go overboard on gearing and preparation so of course it should be that way. However, we killed Blockade with an average item level of 400.7. The very same week Method had conquered Jaina with 406 item level. The lowest publicly logged kills of Mythic Mekkatorque and Mythic Blockade are above 402. This is not meant to brag, but rather just to refute the ever present argument regarding tuning. You should not be able to kill a 2nd and 3rd last bosses as sloppy as we did with an average item level equaling heroic gear. These bosses have typically required good execution, and so called “perfect pulls”. Every boss aside from Jaina is extremely forgiving and has low health.

I’ma simplify this back down to reality:

eSports have no bearing on how the average player experiences WoW, and the only thing Method ruins by merit of being better than everyone else is the mystery of “who will win world first”, which, as I just said, has no bearing on the average player’s experience.

Normal players don’t give two fat rats about who wins world first.

And all those examples you gave were substandard meme builds, and cookie cutter builds were the norm. The current talent system was an (arguably failed) attempt to end the idea of cookie cutter builds.

Someone has too much time on their hands.

I wouldn’t know who Method is if people like the OP didn’t make threads about them all the time.

I read abit of it and loved every moment of that time, even enjoying it I still got bored from such a large wall of text.

My fav part is where you taked about burning money and then made the joke about blizz stock.

10/10 would read the first paragraph again.

I liked the sports car at McDonald’s part the most.

As a person who doesn’t care who does what first…I don’t care about whether Method wants to gloat about their world first title. It doesn’t affect me or my gameplay, thus I don’t care.

should we ignore the previous 973 words?

Limit was talking crap about Method nonstop, but the instant Method gloats that they beat Limit, they’re suddenly terrible braggarts ruining the game for everyone.

Don’t really know who they are, don’t care at all. What they do has no effect on me. Though I do get a nice big eyeroll every time I see some “world first” in WoW. World firsts haven’t meant anything since the days of EQ when raiders had to literally race other guilds to get a world first and if you got there after someone else you hoped they wiped so you could go.
