Is method done for shadowlands? I hope they don’t put out their videos for the next expansion considering their history.

I believe Sco started a new guild and his goal is to be a world 1st contender by the end of SL. Unsure how many of the original raiders went with him if any.

IMHO no matter what ties they have to the name, “Method” they should rid of it and start fresh. The name is tainted now, get a new one and be better then “Method”.

Sco is still in Method trying to make it work. The entire raid team minus Sco and Josh left and made a new guild called Echo. Method is just Sco at this point. No one good is going to want to associate with the Method name. They’ll just apply for Limit or Echo instead.

Method’s former raiders rebranded as Echo and are looking to remain just as competitive for the RWF as they were under Method.
Sco rebuilt Method and recruited players from all over after restructuring the org, but the org is effectively still extremely new as a result of an entirely new roster and should be treated as an up-and-coming competitive guild and not the same Method we all knew.
Josh is not going to raid with either Method or Echo and chances are he’ll be serving actual jail time for what he did since there was literal rape involved in his situation.
Sascha is still co-CEO of Method, if memory serves me.
This… surprisingly enough, isn’t true. A lot of people are repping the Method banner now and they had over 380 applicants after Sco’s initial announcement, and they have a full roster of players.
Most recently, Fem (one of the best M+ tanks in the entire world) got picked up by Method.

All E-sports “GO GO GO” game design needs to go. There is no story anymore, there is no exploring anymore. You are either on the critical path, grinding till your fingers bleed to be the FIRST and THE FASTEST or “you are a casual scrub”
I hate that blizzard caters so much to these toxic people, wow would be better off if they would just go play fortnite or whatever ADHD game that was made with this type of gameplay in mind.

absolutely agree. THe “top” guilds play warcraft like a calculator…just to see how large a number will fit on screen. and a good half the time they are terrible at mechanics. Now…yes…if you can;t down a boss and people are low on heals, dps…tanks missing cds…you take them aside and…ask what’s up? whay is the lock rocking str gems? why is the healer white swinging?
Theres a balance that the mmo calculators forget old man Ionny boy included…Im not the cool kid on the playground…I don’t care who knows I play but I don’t think downing pixel dragons is resume worthy…
so I find those people who do brag…and go on…so. very boring…and sad.
Like the pot bellied balding middle aged (did I just describe Ion?) crying into his beer at a bar telling anyone within earshot…I DID THE THING! I WON THE GAME…back in highschool.

There were go go go people in vanilla too, they just had no platform to broadcast their achievements - no YouTube, no Twitch etc. It’s the internet that changed first, not the games.

I always hate when people hate on a business or name over the actions of an individual. It would be equivalent to if in real life, you decide to boycott McDonalds overall because one of their employees was accused or convicted of a crime and was legally still employed and legally still working at the McDonalds while the accusations were made or criminal investigation was still pending.
I hate the internet’s Guilty until proven Guilty mantra, and worse yet when the internet still deems an individual Guilty even after being proven innocent or dismissal by law enforcement, etc.

You think Limit isn’t going to go for it again after claiming victory in 8.3? Or the EU guilds that are constantly in the race with each new raid? Method might not be hosting from Redbull Arena or whatever, but RWF will be a thing as long as guilds are competitive for it.

Seems odd that anyone fails to understand why Blizzard caters to that audience while living in a country that values the dollar over pretty much any and everything.
It attracts a significant crowd which adds yet another feather in Blizzard’s hat, it’s not exactly rocket science.
No one wants to watch Twitch streamers pick flowers and do WQs. That isn’t exciting.
Competition is exciting.

Some little guild, like 30 members, nobody even knows they exist… BAM world first.

its no so much the competition. its no so much those people with so little goign on that this is an event…its the people that pick up the GOGOGO mentality…but cannot perform at that level. stand in fire…doesn’t matter about your parse…if youre dead.
