I listened to it again, the spoken word around ~22:00 is giving me the Mandela-Effect… I remember a different voice speaking, and I don’t remember him saying those things. Super weird.
Sad I didn’t see any Opeth here… !!! How is this possible?
Labelled as Prog but did alot of things that are popular now before anyone else. I’d say they are just damned good song writers, something thats much less present in modern metal. For this track it s a mix of Screams and cleans without sounding whiny like the emo/metal… its much more haunting. Music is storytelling and Opeth always delivers.
Fleshgod Apocalypse:
Brutal but with a nice backdrop of synth strings and other instruments. Few 4-cord transitions here.
Shokran:
Masters of Harmonic Minor. Head to Uldum and turn this one up. Instrumental.
Anup Sastry - Crystal:
Live Drums. Programmed Guitars, more Djent than anything but a treat for the ears if you dig tight rhythms, breakdowns and surprises. Instrumental.
Polyphia - Aviator:
Metal vibes, virtuoso style. Worth a listen to anyone. Instrumental.
Wintersun - Battle Against Time:
This should always play in game in ever Alterac Valley BG ever. Epic AF.
by the time they are actually here in Sept 2022, we will have had our tickets since Jan 2019… we are going no matter what. we are both vaccinated, and this is a bucket list band for both my wife and I.
my wife is kind of sad though because they usually dont play Moskau in the states.
Fair enough considering they were supposed to tour before covid. Have fun : )
I’ve seen them 3 times already. And aw bummer about not hearing Moskau. They briefly played Rosenrot a few times VERY early into that albums release but it’s just not a very “energetic” live song or even a useful “Okay we need a break” song so I’m never gonna hear my fav song lol.
This could be a long list, so I’ll just name a few.
Party Cannon, Semblant, Killus, PowerWolf, Æther Realm, Almah, Ammotrack, Amon Amarth, Arion, At Vance, Kalidia, The Killbilly 5’ers, Lahmia, Lordi, Metalite, Mushroomhead, Nightwish, Nocturnal Rites, Nothgard, Orden Ogan, Powerman 5000, Pretty Maids, Pyramaze, Rage, Rave The Reqviem, Rob Zombie, Shadows Fall, Skyline, Skyliner, Horizon Ignited, A Sound of Thunder, Spitefire, and my 2 personal faves, Starkill and Judas Priest.
This song speaks to me, is exactly what Christians believe would happen to unbelievers, it is not so much an “evil” song as it is a song about what would happen to an “evil” soul, or not even an evil soul, but just a soul that went astray:
First song from their 3rd album, Dust to Dust. This is a concept album that follows a man turned vampire who ultimately decides to face the one who turned him, attempting to reclaim his soul and free himself of the curse. Many good songs here, give the whole album a go.
This band is great and their sound changed over the years with the lineup.
I’m a dumb edgelord, and love melodic death metal, black metal, folk metal, Deathcore, industrial meta, and other types of music where people just scream at me loud, and make disturbing sounds with their mouths.
I’ve been listening to Lorna Shore, Chelsea Grin, Carnifex, and Whitechapel a lot lately.
Favorite 5 bands are Insomnium, Whitechapel, Nocturnal Bloodlust, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Omnium Gatherum currently.
