Maybe not the heaviest (though this is the heaviest version of this particular song), but just look at this guy. He’s frail and deep in the grip of addiction and his voice has such power. This was his last show, he only lived about 6 more years before the drugs took him. Layne will always be my favorite rock vocalist, he has this high register quite unlike the stereotypical metal voice but can be every bit as energetic and even terrifying.
