Meta data question

I was looking at metadata for the new raid. Is metadata real important to the success of a class in raiding?

I am not sure I fully understand your question. But if you are referring to sites like wowmeta and how accurate they are for Raiding Rankings, I might be able to shed some insight.

The information that you see on some of these sites keep in mind you are going to want to take with a grain of salt. A lot of top end guilds structure their Raids around what fight they are currently Progressing on. This can cause weird spikes of data.

Another thing that the charts do not show are Utility of Classes. Something like a Monks Mystic Touch is not going to be displayed. For example you might see WW Monks as the 4th ranked DPS. But when you factor in the 5% of extra Mele damage from all those Rogues, Warriors, Hunters, and Demon Hunters. They are for sure going to be on top.

you totally got what I was asking.

wowmeta. :no_good_woman: I would avoid using that site. It’s scraping wipe logs from WCL and is the furthest thing from accurate.
