Does anyone know or have any insight on if the DEVs even have access to tracking meta data? It feels like every change they make here is them fumbling in the dark, making a change that no one has asked for, or implementing something that could have worked in the previous phase but has since become outdated.
Obviously, regular players won’t have access to this data, so I’m not sure if anyone on this forum could even know - but is there an internal tracker in World of Warcraft itself, that a GM or someone can pull up and look at, say, a Server’s ST completions? Most of the information/parses are community driven, but could someone in blizzard pull up a file onto a screen, and look at what raid composition took down Hakkar?
Or could they track the multi-shard instances, such as battlegrounds? Do they have a win/loss tab, honor gained, and scores, time it took to complete? Surely there has to be some way of tracking honor at least, after all, it’s a ladder system.
I’m just wondering because every time they fumble the bag, it feels like they’re reacting to something they personally have seen, and aren’t even taking complaints into account. If all they have to go on is their personal experiences before making sweeping changes that effect the entire community, I think that explains a lot about their behavior thus far.
Anyone have any insight on meta-data situation these guys have, or should it be assumed they are making decisions based on personal experiences - as they certainly don’t take any forum posts into consideration.
