just a rant all you see is meta now i can see for like 25+ but come on now. Even at 17s asking for meta thats just stupid. Blizz should spend some time in their own game on non meta classes see what they think of their own game.

That’s more community issue in low keys. Every season is the same in low keys. Groups doing sub 20 and asking for warrior only last season or bdk in sl.

Tuning has been good this expansion. Aug just kind of messed all of that up.

Insert delusional comment here about how you’re not getting accepted because there’s a million people signing up except for the fact every single time you get invited you can look at the queue and see it’s always nearly empty
Group finder, even for low keys, is flooded with “need aug” “need spriest” “need mage” it’s actually absurd. The IO tax for non meta specs is surreal. Even at the time of writing this there’s a 13bh and 17nl that are demanding aug and have been in the queue for 15+ minutes 
This game is filled with a ton of stupid players that want too essentially get carried by waiting for meta comps.
To me the main things i care about is do we have the usual lust, brez, if we doo then i really dont care what people play. Aslong as people can press their buttons somewhat properly itll be fine.

Honestly I can’t fault the people waiting on Aug.
Is it required? No.
Does it make each run substantially easier? Absolutely.
I don’t see a point in judging people who choose to spend their time waiting on a specific spec. They’re doing nothing wrong and harming no one.

I’m even seeing stupidity in +2’s…
Been declined about 6 times as a tank despite being able to solo half of those instances running around buck naked.

As much as I love freehold and like running it, whoever was responsible for making it so melee have to stand back and watch half the trothak fight and pirate captains because they do those “run away from me” circle attacks that go on for several seconds on top of jumping around a lot should be forced to run that fight every day on each spec for a week straight before being allowed to reevaluate boss design again
Same thing for any spec or class that’s underrepresented. I’d love to actually witness the people that are responsible for balancing the game playing the stuff that’s considered bad and unpopular and then I’d be more interested in hearing their take on whether or not it deserves a buff
It’s not a community issue though. Some classes are just much better than others and this is just as true at +15 as it is at +25.
All other things being equal, there’s absolutely zero reason to take a hunter over a mage at any key level, for example. Sure you take the hunter if he has the highest score of all the applicants, but at a certain key level there are so many applicants that you can pick and choose which class you want.
It’s been exacerbated this season by the addition of Augmentation and Afflicted but there is a real and objective difference between the haves and the have nots, and if you’re playing one of the classes that didn’t get lucky this season, you’re even more out of luck than usual.
It’s not stupid. Playing the meta at any key level gets you practice and since the meta’s classes are tuned better your chances of success go up.
The cost of playing the meta in a 17 is you have to wait longer for a specific comp. And since meta classes tend to be popular you don’t even have to wait long.
It’s not really an issue at all.
Playing with an Aug is fun and they bring lust and there are tons of them. People really seem to like the simple rotation.
Blizzard creates the medium which the community interacts. Any community problem is a blizzard problem.
Whenever they rework a class they make it too strong then dial it back. This gives them lots of data because strong classes get played more.
Except they’re a proven healer every season and with healer burn out this season they shouldn’t have an issue getting into 20s. Still not sure if it is hyperbole.

It’s been this way forever true but this season it’s sort of reaching a critical point. Hard to say if Blizzard is noticing.
I’m just saying it’s not really important if players wait in LFG for a meta comp.
People are only willing to wait so long and if people join and they can all see they’re carrying someone but they go to the key anyways they have effectively agreed to the group conditions.
Is this something that needs to change? Is it even changeable?
I don’t know how many times I have to say it but it wasn’t even directed at that person. Somebody is literally going to come into this thread making that excuse as to why people don’t get invited to groups and I was simply mocking them. Everybody that says that it’s not because of meta but the amount of people in the queue are straight up lying lol. Even if I list my key there’s barely anything for minutes.
