Merrix is missing in Catch Up: The War Within Return to Dornogal

After some more snooping around i noticed that i cant actually see other questgivers. my flying is also bugged.

Same here, i can see it, but when i interac whit it, the end of mission option doesnt appear

I found the solution. You need to completely DROP the Recap. Progress through the Campaign the traditional way. Starting with the Silithus intro quest. Once you finish the Dalaran quest line, you will get a portal from your main city to Dornogal.

You have to do the entire quest line (all there chapters) the normal way, not through the RECAP. Recap is only for people who have already done the Campaign quest line. This is because its the last campaign in the game.

Having the same issue as well. Created a ticket. I did try abandoning the quest for Merrix to re-appear however I could not accept the quest again so it seems lost.

I then tried leaving the catch up and resuming, hoping that might get things moving but now I’m stuck at the lore book and cannot move.

This is the second progress impeding bug I’ve encountered in two days. I came back for Remix and was thinking about sticking around for Midnight, but first I ran into the bug where I couldn’t transfer my Remix character, so I went to the trouble of levelling my old main, and now this

Yup, I have the same Merrix bug and I’m also not able to fly either. I’ve been away from WOW for a few years and the moment I try to take it up again, I’m bugged out and can’t play. Now I remember why I gave up this game years ago.

I can’t fly in Dornogal but I can everywhere else. And yeah, Merrix still missing. Lame.

So I submitted a ticket about this. The issue is that the quest turn in is missing, flying is disabled, and for me at least, the portal to Dornogal is not there in Stormwind, so when I leave I can’t get back there. Starting the catch-up quest also seems to have invalidated my ability to receive the regular quest to start War Within, on any character in my warband. After being unable to progress on my paladin, I levelled my druid thinking I could just do the normal intor quest rather than the catch-up. Upon reaching 70 though, the quest has not popped for me, and there doesn’t seem to be any way to manually trigger it. I’ve tried visiting Silithus and Dalaran, but nothing. So I pre purchased Midnight to get access to WW, to do the catch up, and delves etc, and now I am completely locked out of anything WW related.

I got a response to my ticket which was a link to a Wowhead article, claiming that I had to complete certain campaign requirements before I could hand it in. Obviously the “gamemaster,” (let’s be honest, it’s probably ChatGPT,) didn’t actually read that I was doing the catch-up quest. So I reopened the ticket and clarified. I got a response this morning that basically said “oh yeah, it’s a bug. Gamemasters can’t do anything, here’s how to submit a bug report.”

GG Blizzard, what a welcome back this is, especially combined with the face that I haven’t been able to transfer the character I actually want to play over from Remix, because that system is bugged too.

I hereby petition that Gamemasters should henceforth be called Game Guides, since all they seem to do is link people to Wowhead articles.

I have ben going around and around on this, I am 80, I hit 80 while in the catchup. Wanted to continue the quests. I got to the end merrix and the others are where they belong but speaking to merrix offers no option except goodby. Shaddowy pursuits also refused to complete. Left the catchup and returned, the teleport option from the book took me to merrix, still no turn in or other option. If it’s shadowy pursuits thats the problem how the FraK do I get back to where it can be compleated as the book teleports me to merrix

Having this issue as well. first time retail player. kinda immersion breaking as i dont knwo what else to do until this is fixed. i can only assume completing the campaign unlocks features.
