Okay, least i’m not the only one confused.
I think they should let players cross faction bgs. Let’s say there are 2 horde slots open in a bg queue. They can fill it with an alliance player and vice versa. The players race will be changed accordingly like how they change when you merc. For role playing purposes or if you worried your tmog will be ruined or if you don’t want to be turned into a gnome. You can have the option(which you can select from the bg menu not from some hidden npc) to stay in your own factions queue.
yes.
no.
i fail to see the issue with just placing people/groups on each team without changing their race/appearance to the other faction.
On one hand it solves the queue time and loss ratio problem. On the other hand it ruins the last remaining sense of community of the faction, which is a huge thing for some people.
I wouldn’t mind them trying it out for a week or two as a trial run. See if people like it. The game has gone too far from MMORPG it once was anyway. Quick matches with random people are right in place with modern gaming trends. Sad but true.
That’s been ruined for a while. At this point in the game there’s no reason not to do it. Though I like my 30 second to one minute queue.
I don’t like it for the game for lore/story reasons but like it for pvp/population reasons…hard to choose which I favor more. But I’m a lore nerd on an RP server.
Pretty much this, secondly. Holy hell this post is quite the unique one at that.
