not sure if it’s stated elsewhere but some people say the server is just going to be shut down which would mean i lose a ton of work etc. the question is, is that true or are we just being merged with another server?
It would almost certainly be a merger with another realm of Blizzard’s choice. They did the same thing with many dead Classic realms last August, including my old realm (Bigglesworth, RIP).
As for how many more years we get to keep our characters for in general when all is said and done, I have no idea.

oh ok that at least answers that i will keep my characters and more then likely have my friends and guild when it does happen. alot of us wanna stay so we end up in the same one later but i just got worried about my work. thanks for the answer though
