I’m not a pvper, so I’m not sure about this, but come phase 2, is the only way to farm for the Merciless Gladiator’s Spellblade to farm Arena? I thought one could farm honour and badges for it from BGs, but maybe not.
In later seasons you can.
Unless they remove the ratings on the weapons, the average player won’t pvp.
Once season 2 starts (which may be with P2 or later), Merciless Gladiator weapons will only be purchased with arena points. There will also be a rating requirement to purchase the item, I believe it is 1850 but could be wrong on that.
Gladiator (S1) weapons should be available for arena points at a discount and no rating requirement.
If they follow the original TBC model, you will only be able to purchase arena gear from 2 previous seasons with honor. Meaning S1 armor/weapons during S3 and S2 armor/weapons during S4.
