Lets talk Merchant Mounts. I love em and have a few things I’d like to see added to them. Not sure if they have been mentioned before but here I go.
First, I’d like to see the people who own them, to be able to make a little money with them. Allow played to to put a tax on items the vendors sell 1-2% up to 100%. If someone wants to use the Mount Vendors let them pay for the convenience.
Second, Allow players to put their own Vendor on the mount to sell their trade goods. I know there’s an auction hall but not all places have one so you could park yourself somewhere while working your craft (my third idea) and still sell things.
Third, be able to craft (fish, cook, crafts) while on the Vendor mount.
There you have it, flame away (/em put’s his flame retardant suit on…).
the problem with this is that no one will use them
and the vendor idea play 76 when you are shopping and the player decides nope and logs out or switch mounts
The only reason I bought the merchat/mog mount is to sit idle in busy hubs waiting for players to use my mogger.
Then I wait 10-20 seconds and dismount while they helplessly lose their mogging progress.

Thats an assumption and a wrong one at that. I remember a game called EQ in the early days when the internet just came out… There was a Cave in the Commonlands if I remember correctly, where people hung out, haggled over prices, all while selling things and talking story. It brought a sense of community and you could find some really cool things there. I think it would be really cool if you could go somewhere, maybe a fishing hole for instance, make a camp and sell your goods.
