I skipped the Maw intro quest by talking to the NPC in org. I went to Oribos and the fatescriber froze my screen, but no selection popped up. There should have been a menu asking me if I wanted to do the SL campaign or do threads of fate. My intention was to select the threads of fate, but again, no menu popped up at all. I was stunned and couldn’t hearth or anything so I logged off and back on. When I logged back in, it seems like it started the SL campaign. I was trying to do threads of fate for SL and avoid the campaign.
Why Blizz? Why do we have to do the entire campaign just to select a covenant and play this old content anyways?

Someone in trade just asked about this and we did some trouble shooting. What worked for them was a complete log out and back in.
They tried character move, addons removed, /reload ui and nothing worked.
We were at the point when I was recommending them create a ticket and ask here for the correct subcategory (link etc), then someone in trade said to do the log out and back in and presto they were through.
Ohh I see I should have completely read it before I replied lol. Hmmm, I will say there was one FATE workaround I saw in a post. It involved a new toon. You position yourself at the FATE person, you join group, quest sync and they start it and the person appears. But I have not tried that.
I will note that you should have the option to skip the cov intro stuff at the cov itself and the korthia and straight to ZM with pocopo. I have done that even after the campaign started.
Edit: also this should probably be moved to Bugs or added to one that is there. Good luck.

ToF was removed with Shadowlands.
It’s still there. You just can’t access it until level 60.

I know they say this, but it’s not exactly true. It’s not the same as it was during SL and you can’t use it to level, but the campaign skip still exists as long as you’ve completed the campaign on one character. You can’t access it until level 60.
Here’s me doing it on my new Earthen just a couple weeks ago as proof. I recorded it on an Earthen just so there would be no doubt that this works during TWW.

It’s bugged. I made a post about it on the bug subforum. It broke after the last patch. I would appreciate you going and posting there so it gets more attention.
11.0.5 is here and they removed the Threads of Fate skip is flatout dumb! The purpose of the skip was to skip the zone leveling campaign to select a covenant right away and with its removal you cannot even try to do that on a level 70 toon!
Lol I was actually trying to post this thread in the bug report forum. No clue how I ended up here. I was originally trying to submit a ticket but doing that is about as easy as getting ToF to work properly in this patch… I’ll repost there.

ToF was not removed from Shadowlands, I used it during TWW on the patch right before this. The freezing animation also occurs still, its literally just the choice option box that has bugged out.

Yeah I was planning on getting a friend to help me with resetting, but I bet it will just bug again anyways until Blizz fixes this.
I posted a ticket with this as well. I’m not actually even looking for threads of fate.
I completed the Shattered Sky story line by using the Greymane skip prompt, then I’m out in Oribos, can’t even get the Stranger in an Even Stranger Land auto quest/accept to come up.
This has left Oribos missing 3/4th of it’s NPCs and I can’t proceed.
Even bugged more now and still it is issues on former lvl 70+ Remix characters. I did the SL skip yesterday to do more of the Felcycle solves that involved SL and after the skip there was no freeze, guards were in original arriving positions and most if not all of Oribos was bugged. Since the freeze didn’t happen after the skip to start anything and with no gates or flightmaster, you cannot fly ahywhere out of Oribos.
