Men who play as female toons?

Well there wasn’t an option to play as Everchosen so savage Lombax will have to do.

I have female and male characters, not sure what the big deal is. It’s just a character.

Many will. GD is so embarrassing sometimes.

It’s my $15 a month. I’ll play what I want and if you don’t like it you can go jump off a cliff.

I’d like to see the rule book where it states that men must play men and women must play women. Do you have a pdf?

Pretty sure it says in the original manual that it is recommended you play your own gender. Or maybe it was a strategy guide that came with the old battlechest

I’ve always been a guy who plays guys, though I’ve recently made a few female characters because after playing as all the male races for a few years, it’s just a bit refreshing to have a new model/voice/animation to look at while grinding sometimes, though most of the time I just play as a duderino.

As for my other friends, I know a lot of them play females cause they like one of three things.

  1. “I like to look at sexy booty while gaming”
  2. “I feel more in tune with how games portray females (soft and elegant) as compared to males (rough and tough) IE: I have a friend who plays a female worgen, but in his RP profile, he is male, he just like the smaller frame”
  3. jumps off the counter “I’m gay”

Why would I want to look at the backside of a male toon when playing ?
Plus females so much cuter mogs.
47 yr old (very) straight male.

I’ll have you know I’m a manly man, but for 80 gold at the barbershop I can be whatever gender I feel like at the time.

Shouldn’t you make threads that aren’t obvious bait?

Doesn’t Ragnarok do that? The gender of the characters you could make were based on the gender on your account (and you couldn’t change it after making the account). Or at least they did when I tried playing years ago.

Shouldn’t you play as a human if you’re human irl?

And people say I troll

I play men because they are attractive and I like looking at them.

As I can minute for many minutes, MANY minutes, to get into LFR, dungeon or pvp sessions thorught the week I get 2 options.

Look at a male butt. Or a female one. I choose the latter.

I really don’t like pops coming up at the wrong time. So when I go back I don’t know where the heck I left off at.

So…I stand around alot. Maybe fish. The female model makes this more tolerable.

Also the male elf models are just not as well done as the females imo. NE or BE and the now AR variants. And I have many elves.

In RO1, yes. I believe RO2 doesn’t restrict it in that way.

Even setting aside that terrible restriction, I’ve always found the gender-locked classes in a lot of eastern MMOs just so strange.

I’m actually a pineapple in real life.
I just wanna be a cute blueberry female elf sometimes without being judged, y’know?
