Ive ran necrotic wake 7 times now and this still hasnt dropped. wowhead and the game journal has this dropping off the last boss of necrotic wake, icy veins is saying its from halls of atonement. Have any of you got this legendary power? if so how many runs and off of which boss?

It drops from Necrotic Wake and it’s not a 100% chance. Any legendaries that you can spam some form of content for are not 100%.
do you have to turn the first one in that you get? I had some blood one and just turned it in for an achievement, are they locked before you restore your first one or something?
The drop change is very, very low in dungeons.
The conduit for some reason seems to also be very low.
I literally just got mine off Necrotic Wake, I did normal earlier last week, and then I ran a mythic NW, and got it 20 minutes ago.
Ive ran nectrotic wake 30 times today and 10-15 times the past 3 days and have gotten anything. I understand that the drop rate is low but thats close to 100 runs. I also read that its a .3% drop rate and i had to think to myself. That doesnt sound right. Why would something that requires you to progress in the game but cant if you dont have be one of the rarest things in the game. Then i remembered its Blizzard

To be fair, I remember getting my first legendary nearly 2 months into legion. It was the neck -_-
I never once had gotten the BiS legendary in legion on any of my toons.
To “expect” to get the BiS not even a full week in is sorta silly, sorry.
Im not expecting it in the first week. I never said that at all. I said im curious to know the drop rate. I said i ran it 50 times an that it didnt drop so i just want to know. I also said i read that the drop rate was .3% an that i dont think it should be that low if its correct. Never said im mad cuz im not gonna get it first week. Not mad at all jus a little upset that they if they have something that is required. It should be at least 1-2% drop chance. Not below 1%
Ah I gotcha, my bad. Well good luck getting it, I got it and wasnt even trying, i was just trying to clear mythics before reset. I flipped when i got it lol
Im hoping to get it before raid. I already have my base items ready for upgrade an all that. I jus wish that after 50-100 runs (cuz im hella dedicated) that i get it very soon
Im on run56 of necrtotic wake. I highly doubt this is true but on wowhead it said the drop rate is 3 out of 2245 chance .13% that too low if you ask me but like i said. I doubt its true
I’ve ran about 6 times now and I still haven’t gotten it yet. So annoying considering the queue can take 30 minutes sometimes.
Im about 60 runs in an nothin yet. So good luck, i jus went blood spec for fast q times but stayed frost loot
I got it in 2 runs of necrotic wake off last boss. The drop rate isnt good average I assume is 10-12 runs.
Literally the one worthwhile legendary memory to get until the raid comes out. Nice one blizz. .13 drop rate yikes train

I think the drop rate is a typo. I finally got it after 60 runs, if it is a typo. Wowhead needs to fix that. I was on 55 runs earlier when i said about 60
I feel bad. I got it on my first run of the place.
I guess I used up all my good luck.
On the upside, it’s probably best to hold on crafting them until the raid releases as class tuning may impact BIS legos.
There’s really no reason to craft them until the raid, M+ and PVP start as there is no challenging content they are needed for.
I crafted mine as rank 1 isn’t that much time to refarm if I need to swap and would rather have the easier time next week clearing M+ and raid.
Sure once I kill sludgefist I can consider changing to the oblit damage option. But I think aoe damage will sim higher, will likely make rank 4 of both
I plan on using both. One for raid. One for m+. Im already full mythic dungeon gear the only thing left needed was the legendary. Took awhile but finally got it
