Memory Leaks

So for the record, I am not hit as hard with this issue like numerous others , but it’s still annoying, especially when a good portion of my guild can’t play for long stretches or at all. (My system is also used for video editing so I have too much ram if there’s such a thing…)

Pre-Midnight, the avg usage of WoW without addons was somewhere around 7000mb for most, depending on the way people have their systems set. One of my members hit all 16gb in his tower, WoW and Windows crashed, short of it is….he can’t play. Another of my members says 24gb of his 32 is in use after 30 mins, another says 29gb. Combine this with an engine that was already challenged as is and you have hot junk.

They’re looking into all the various places people post when they’re mad besides here and they’re saying this was a known issue in the beta, even up to the testing of the launch.

This is about as flagrantly irresponsible as it gets - because, thanks to all those lovely AI farms growing, one does not simply go out and buy more RAM anymore like it’s common thing. Whoever said “Push this out regardless” should be fired, for being a complete and utter idiot.

What is the ETA for a fix?

I don’t care about all the spiffy things coming, people need to be able to play.

Or does M$ want to see the game tank…?

And I know I don’t speak for everyone, but I do speak for the people in my guild who paid that big price tag for the best version of the expansion.

unfortunately I don’t think they really care about the games performance anymore, ive had major stutter issues in cities and populated areas for months now. The game just hitches and runs like crap. There’s a huge thread about it here on the forums with zero response from blizz even after hundreds of replies and thousands of views.
