Are you on a different toon? Because the only warrior memory is on the 2nd boss.

I would imagine he’s not trying to farm memories at 51 since they don’t drop until that toon unlocks the Runecarver.

We say this every week in our binding runs MC as well.

Just give us our TF already Bliz.

I saw a thread a couple days ago about a dude whining because it took him 20 kills to get his BrM Legendary.

I’m at 50 kills now and zilch.

Blizz should have learned their lesson from changing how Legion dungeon quests were changed and simply placed the drop on the last boss.

They were going to give memories a better chance… then they forgot.

my warrior is in the same badluck mode.

i ran what feels like 20 necrotic wakes and still have not seen it

at this rate ill get revered with ascended for the other decent memory before deathmaker drops in necrotic wake.

At least the memory you want is farmable and isn’t tied to a raid boss.

This system sucks honestly, at least in legion even though the legendaries you got were random you had a chance to get them from ANYTHING.

Some of us could be raiding for 6 months and still not get the legendary we need lmao. What a joke

Aren’t memories off of raid boss 100% drops?

Are they? I had assumed they were the same as dungeon drops.

I was under the impression that anything not spammable had 100% drop rate for memories, though don’t quote me on it.

Yeah I actually just googled it real quick and it looks like you’re right. Thank god

the dungeon drop rate is super low. i’m just hoping that drop chance will increase with mythic plus levels

Right.

And who is gonna spend a bunch of money and rare resources on anything but the best legendaries ?

The other ones might as well not even exist.

It wouldn’t be a big deal if they didn’t incorporate crafting materials into legendaries. The prices on the AH are insane, I doubt I’ll ever be able to afford to fully upgrade a single legendary let alone multiple.

Instant gratification

Yeah it feels really bad to have something that:

  • Other players will expect me to have

  • Something I want to have to make my spec more fun

  • Something that Blizzard encourages you to get through multiple Torghast explaination quest

  • A system that has been hyped up as one of the key features

and I arbitrarily have to kill the same boss 50 to 100 times to be able to participate in that.

With Torghast, you have a set goal and earn it. With Honor, you have a set price and grind for it. With world bosses, you have a set target and kill it. Hopefully people with a raid boss drop will have a high or confirmed drop rate.

With dungeon drops, you’re completely helpless. Your skill doesn’t matter, there’s no clear progress to be made. You’re either lucky or you’re queueing again.
