What were the most memorable quests in Classic WoW for you?
The most memorable quests for me were the class quests. Training your Voidwalker, taming a pet, obtaining the whirlwind axe from the island as a warrior, going on a stealth mission for your dagger at level 10 as a rogue, etc.
Druid quests.
Linken chain. (It's a secret to everybody)

Brutal Hauberk armor quest for warriors, with the Air totem leap of faith in thousand needles a close second.
The Paladin/Warlock mount quests, and the tier 0.5 chain were all extremely interesting. The best part of them, imho, was that they "unlocked" special bosses that had their own complete loot tables.
First play-through, the Buzzbox quests in Darkshore were pretty memorable. Took me all over the place in a totally new area :)
Also getting jumped by the elites just northeast of Lakeshre in Redridge mountains. Going up the hill, and out from behind the rock was my death. Total WTF moment for me :)
MC Attunement was also pretty awesome.

The whirlwind quest was probably the most memorable for me....
It felt like quite a accomplishment for me way back then lol.
The onyxia attunement was very memorable for me too, it took me for freaking ever at the time. And very satisfying when I finally got that necklace...
Honorable mention... that running quest where you had to jump over to the column in south arathi highlands. THAT was scary..... and I had no idea there was a quest there... I was just exploring and found it.

Finding a quest giver while dead in BRD. That was one of my favorite OMG moments.
Shaman quests were fun.
Warlock quests were interesting also. I loved that Infernal, even if he was stuck at level 50.

Some quest in badlands for BRD where the quest text never told you what you needed only said "You know this because you are psychic.
The quest chain in darkshire......sent you back and forth to the raven hill cemetery I think it was called, like 10 times....how could I forget that, even back to moonbrook...stalvan and Abercrombie I think were some of the names.
As awesome as classic was in regards to the world, the slow game play and community the quests were nothing but kill 10 of this and gather 10 of that.
that's literally pretty much it - Blizzard basically hid that with a bunch of quest texts but at a fundamental level its all just a big large grind of killing mobs till you hit level 60

Grouping up to climb the stepped troll city in the Hinterlands. Jintha Alor? I think?
Linken chain was cool.
Fordring chain was cool.
Myzrael quest chain was an adventure. "Do all this stuff here in Arathi. Okay now run to the Badlands and run back."

YAS! As part of the ZF hammer chain, if I remember correctly.
Sounds like fun. I liked it the first time. To some people it's just killing mobs, but to others it's an adventure worth having.11/07/2018 10:40 AMPosted by KhalrockAs awesome as classic was in regards to the world, the slow game play and community the quests were nothing but kill 10 of this and gather 10 of that.
