Memento of Tyrande (Timewalking)

I ran Black Temple Timewalking with my guild and got this. Upgraded it to 441. I wasn’t actually expecting to get anything useful, but this dropped. We are mainly an AOTC guild, but I do a lot of M+ also so I’m 446 overall. As a Resto Druid, I’m trying to get an idea of how it compares to other trinkets such as Rashok’s Molten Heart (441) in terms of both mana regen and overall power.

I usually use Rashok’s Molten Heart (441) + Ominous Chromatic Essence (441) when I raid. I’m trying to get an idea of how this fits into the picture. I know it’s very late in the tier/season, but I’d still like to know, since we still raid regularly. Any input is appreciated!

I would have to look at the tooltip for this to the exact amount of mana it returns compared to Rashok’s Molten Heart. You could experiment with using it with each of your trinkets, like using Rashok’s and Memento for healing intensive fights.

These are the two Trinkets side by side:

At 441 it gives +570 int and the tooltip says “Your healing spells have a chance to return 2,470 mana.” But I have no idea how often it procs, etc. And obviously it’s not contributing any output also unlike Rashok’s.

The proc amount ends up being how much haste you have + 2.5, while Rashok’s can only proc 2x a minute. This means that Memento can possibly proc several times per minute.
If I were you I would keep it in case there is a fight that is super healing or mana intensive, like maybe Zskarn or Rashok, and use your normal combo for every other fight.

Momento would need to proc 6x per minute to slightly beat the mana regen of molten heart.

That doesn’t include the value of the hot or the value of the vers.

@op there is a 0% chance that trinket is better than than molten heart.

For anyone looking this up in the future, I finally had a chance to test this. In a raid, logs show mana returns between 60-90% of what I get from Rashok’s, depending on the fight. And of course, that’s without the additional benefits that the Rashok’s trinket provides. So overall a pretty lackluster trinket especially in a tier where mana is not usually a huge bottleneck.
