well ret just does crazy damage, that doesn’t mean all melee good all casters weak. Not like as a mage you cant kill in a rogue stun with combust, or charge up an arcanosphere that might crit for 40k on the person cc’d in front of you.

Idk I’ve seen fire mages do disgusting damage. Just the other night a dude lined up his stuff and did like 28k or so damage in a global as fire.

It’s only ww monks and rets that are just unstoppable right now, rets can literally run in pop offensives and bubble and BAM one shot your healer before he can even press trinket

LOL you’re a 212 frost mage with 9% crit… and you wonder why you don’t do damage. You only have a 63.5% chance to crit on shatters my dude, fix that and you’ll see a big improvement.
Also you’re talents are pretty bad. Lonely winter, chain reaction and thermal void, often paired with ice form, is the way to go now. And usually splitting ice even, tho you have to be careful not to break CC with that. Getting those big bolts and lances is the play now.
Mage brings arcane brilliance so it’s fine if they’re bottom dps.
At least, that’s what mages I know said about warriors in pve and battleshout last patch.
