From what I hear they don’t wanna shuffle around the meta they just wanna do the smallest possible adjustments prior to gear + awc
Meta after will probably flip completely
I cannot stress enough how much I do not think awc balance should impact the ladder

Yeah this always seemed to be the logical solution
See they’re just waiting till we’re all fully geared then they’ll do some crazy meta flipping so people reroll and begin the gear treadmill all over again. Gotta get them numbers up, babyyyyy.

Blizzard looks at current outliers and be like “suffer well” stay tuned for changes in 2 months.
Always redic stance to have. There should be strict tuning every week for first 8 weeks of a season to get everyone towing the line performance wise. CYA in a few months is the most tilting approach blizz does.
Its not hard to look at data and just tap in some numbers incrementally. If you overcorrect thats fine give it a small bump down following week if the performance is still not satisfactory.

the worst thing they could do is make massive sweeping nerfs to overperformers pre gear imo
so I personally would take what we have now over that
with that said tho if they could just have piffzor sit there and hammer out minor changes every week for 2 months I’d prefer that over all else

Ya exactly. Small bump and downs weekly unless of course something is WELL above desired values then hit it harder and see how the week plays out. Bump up if needed following week.
I don’t feel like thats an enormous workload either its really easy to see hey shadowbolt is hitting for 1.5 million and pyroblast is hitting for 300k. Lets do some adjustments here…
rinse repeat till it looks close across the board.
I don’t think anyone would complain if they overcorrected something and it will be fixed the following week either. We would have the best season yet.
