A great man and one of my arena mentors dropped a piece of knowledge that shattered my reality and really encouraged me to picture walking in a caster’s shoes.
Melee cleaves hate queing into MLX. The only real way to survive against Skeletor and his degenerate chaos-railing just outta rehab buddy is attempting to hide behind shelter while doing the #icebucketchallenge for 45 seconds. I know it might be for a good cause but California has been dealing with a water-shortage for last decade. We can’t really afford to freeze it and dump it on the ground anymore.
The flip-side is that MLX doesn’t like crayon-eating apes LOSing their big-dam cooldowns because caster damage is apparently harder to get off.
The proposal when melee cleaves que into MLX:
All pillars are removed;
Melee can’t use kicks;
Melee DPS get a 300% movement speed increase;
Aegis is buffed by 100%;
All casters get demon armor;
Mages can’t block; and
If the game lasts more than 2 mins, everyone dies and it’s declared a draw.
If you ban lock you will dodge like fifty percent of the ques atm. Don’t even think lock would be as bad without resolve it really adds just an extra layer of casting protection that doesn’t seem healthy for the game. Just need to tweak resolve more and make the tier not scale off damage modifiers in pvp
Yeah, I thought about class ban, but thought that would be too much. I think a spec ban would be more reasonable. That way can’t dodge both RMP and MLS, but you can dodge one of them.
