Melee are absurdly too strong in p3

Nearly impossible to find a raid with any kind of skill / speed as a caster. We do 1/3rd the DPS of melee right now. Warriors are doing 3200 DPS on bosses and casters are lucky to hit 1k.

Each raid is 3 melee groups, one healer group which might have a caster in it. So basically no spots for mages, ele shaman, boomkin, or warlock.

Sweet phase, well done, awesome testing. only 3x the DPS and doing phase 6 naxx bis DPS at level 50. At this rate warriors, rogues, and melee hunters will EASILY be over 10-12k DPS by Naxx.

This exact situation was the life of warriors and rogues last phase. Join a guild and quit caring about 99’s / speedrunning and you’ll have no problem clearing the raid every week

Good. All the caster FOTM rerolls from p2 that laughed at melee trying to play the game need to ride the pine or reroll.

Giving ABSURD armor as a mechanic to deter bringing half of the game’s dps was the biggest mistake of P2… well, that and shamans as a whole.

I am in a guild. That doesnt change the fact that casters do 1/5th the damage of melee…

Nah, id rather not play then partake is a subpar 30 parse GDKP where visa and discover card are the only reason ppl are in attendance.

I play to play hard. Not carry some dumbo with plastic card

Melee hunter was the 3rd best damage in p2, Warrior was 5th.

Imagine thinking they were “bad” in p2… yikes.

Rogue and feral sucked 100%. Warrior and hunter have been excellent all 3 phases.

Apparently you cant read… theres a difference between “not topping” and doing ONE THIRD THE DAMAGE.

again, its 3200 damage vs 1050 on these bosses. Thats not just “not topping” … thats barely registering on the meters.

“Warriors” aren’t doing 3200 dps this phase. A couple of people exploiting a bugged trinket before it got nerfed did 3200 dps.

3200 was just posted last night. Had nothing to do with a trinket. Deep wounds is insanely too strong. He did 3200 DPS and his most DPS was deep wounds at 793 DPS… he only meleed for 630 DPS.

THINK ABOUT THAT.

His bleed, on a warrior, was more damage, then him actually hitting the boss.

It needs to be fixed ASAP

Not a couple. One. There is a single log for a single boss fight with dps that high.

That’s how you know OP isn’t worth taking seriously.

Sounds like you’re looking at a bugged log or unreported exploit. 3200 DPS is not achievable even in sims right now.

Its 100% achievable on a cleave fight.

Deep wounds has been broken this entire game and they still havent fixed it.

Check any warriors logs, their highest damage ability is deep wounds whereas on era its supposed to be almost none of their damge, in SoD its their most damaging ability.

So you dont think Deep Wounds is too strong?

Not really, he spent God knows how much gold on consumes just to parse. Warriors have always scaled very well but a guy dropping hundreds of gold on consumables and having every world buff possible week 2 of the phase before everyone is fully geared is not indicative of actual class balance.

Unfortunately casters don’t have an equivalent to elixirs/firewater/scrolls stacking on top of WBs that produces the same level of output. What I’m trying to say is you’re using one guy who’s spending degenerate amounts of gold to stack buffs on the best scaling class in the game to invalidate casters as a whole because they can’t do that too. This isn’t a realistic scenario, and parsing is against your own class anyway.

Who cares if a warriors 99 is 3k and your 99 is 1k? 99.9% of guilds aren’t gatekeeping casters because they can’t do what warriors can. Find a new guild if they’re benching anyone who isn’t a swiper warrior, or re-roll if all you care about is being #1 sounds pretty cut and dry.

Dont have to be a swiper lol. its not that much gold… its like a mongoose and three world buffs. I think youre overestimating how much gold this takes.

I play on Crusader Strike. If I wanted every buff possible, I’d spend about 500-700g for one raid.
