Melee and their insane mobility

Pressed charge. Lock ported. Got rooted. Got infernal stunned. Got death coiled. Pressed parry. Tried to reflect the spike but didn’t get it. Died in sub 2 seconds to frost mage / destro standing in the Bermuda triangle formation.

Thankfully I had that second charge and leap ready to connect to them. Nerf me daddy. I’m outta control.

I don’t think I made it that far tbh

Every caster and every melee wants the game misbalanced to compensate them for having a partner that isn’t wealthyman or saul respectively

rookie mistake not hitting the warlocks felguard when it runs behind the pillar to axe toss you on auto cast

If you are a ranged player going against two melee, it’s nasty and you hear people say melee is OP. If you are a melee going against two ranged, it’s nasty and you hear people say ranged has too much advantage.

hard to feel bad for you when you have leap, charge (root), charge (root), reflect, stun, fear.

This so much.

On my Mage I can generally win against most melee, Monks and Rogues being the major exception. But that’s only because Monks can basically ignore my slows and Rogues are just insane right now.

It boils down to what lobby you enter. If you’re fighting a Frost Mage and a Rogue, GG’s. You fight a Frost Mage and a Destro Lock, GG’s. But if you fight against a caster/healer or melee/healer it’s a lot more manageable as melee or ranged respectfully.

Melee are fine fighting against a 45/55 split in caster favor of balance.

Casters are not fine fighting with anything less than 60/40 in favor of caster balance. Casters don’t want to just be strong, they want to be strong enough to where melee don’t get to participate in the game.

And that’s why I can’t take any of them seriously.

Funny.

The strategy for most of RSS has been ‘train the caster and don’t let them play the game.’

The shoe is on the other foot for now, at least at 2200+

The shoe was always on that foot. Casters have been the meta since DH nerfs week one… They just like to cry and self victimize acting like the big bad melee boogeyman shouldn’t be able to hit them.

Warriors have literally no place to complain right now. If you’re having a bad time it’s a skill issue.

I just played Solo Shuffle with two warriors and a demon hunter and it might as well have been as if I wasn’t playing the game because of how much lockdown and immunity I was up against. Nothing I did mattered.

Every single 0-6 lobby i have been a part of was because of a warrior or warriors. Your class does infinite damage, you have team utility coming out of your ears, and the amount of effort it takes you to use those abilities is zero compared to any caster besides maybe ele, which still has to kite enough to live.

So part of your problem is Solo-Shuffle you play it completely different than 2’s and 3’s. It’s a kill at all costs game vs. a kill safely and survive game. But if you have two warriors on you, it’ll be rough as most Warlocks only have single target fears. But if you’re the only melee in the lobby, GG’s, you’re done.

I could rating check you but I’m just not that type of dude

Where were your partners? This sound like you tried to 1v2.

Or you know, don’t balance the game around arenas the least popular game mode?

i can’t remember the last time they changed the way an ability works outside of pvp, because of pvp. are you referring to other pvp modes being more popular than arenas?

I get why they don’t do this but it would be nice to have two melee and two casters per shuffle. But again, I get why they don’t for queue times.
