Is there a reason we cannot make Mekgineer Thermaplugg passive on spawn, while talking to the NPC to engage it and then he can go on some superhero rant about how he is the best engineer for 5 seconds, so once the Menagerie passes to the great robot city in the sky, players do not get spawned on by this boss while trying to loot the bodies that were left on the ground?
Also, can we get the issue where we are all locked into combat once the fight is over resolved as well?
It has almost been a month since release and I am surprised these have not been resolved.

I agree. It’s silly to have to run to the edge of the room or yolo.
Just pull the dragon to the door, pretty sure its the one that drops the loot.
Can we fix the combat bug after he’s dead as well.
Maybe just put a big red button in the middle of the room that says ‘%t pressed me and started the encounter!’ lol.
SoD team (one half dead hamster) is only able to tweak numbers by small amounts every other week. Asking anything else of such a small, overworked team, is unreasonable.

and nerf his health and damage
why? is he too hard for you?
Did you even read what he said? Thermaplugg spawns 10 seconds after you kill menagerie and its dumb, must be catered to speedrunners or something.

not sure where you got all the other stuff from what me and him were talking about…
I thought you were replying to the post and not just one of the replies to it, my bad.

The are so many reasonable workarounds for this fight to make even the original possible.
Killed menagerie? Sprint to the front of the room where a chest has spawned with all the drops.
Chest too hard? Make Mekgineer a NPC you can talk to. Imagine Mekgineer sees you all kill the menagerie and then he just slowly walks into the center like a parade, with fireworks, lightning bolts, etc, shooting into the sky. I mean he is an engineer, a champion one at that, and engineers do my fireworks.
I am uncertain what he is getting tied to after the kill and I’ve cleared the zone since the first weekend of week 1. I have noticed that some players leaving will cause the combat to break, but never noticed if it was a specific class/person every time. I wonder if the suits are still considered active enemies and have combat lock with the raid instead of going completely inactive.
