I noticed anything someone types in subject line as long as it says mega thread has a billion replies in it… What makes a mega thread a mega thread? who and how is this decided?

Thats not exactly right, historically a lot of attempts at “megathreads” fell flat.
What makes the current megathread work is that they found a niche, a twist or topic that is fun, appealing or gets regulars to engage in it for whatever reason.
It’s the forum equivalent of a viral video.

Every mega thread that’s popped up didn’t appeal to me at all…Guess I’m just not the average bear.

Having the same energy as an angsty high schooler discovering the “paradox of tolerance” for the first time. While not actually understanding what tolerance is.

Find better guilds. Most dont actually have drama.
If you dont want to be in a guild that is absolutely fine. But if your reasoning is guild drama. I find that pretty rare myself.
Never said they shouldn’t be represented. They are represented, insufferably so.
What makes this really stand out is how little they are actually represented in game in relation to all other content.
And that makes it insufferable to you.

You need certification from the official megathread certifier to make it a megathread. And Larry hasn’t certified diddly squat since '18 so any “megathread” you see today is likely counterfeit and should be reported to the proper authorities.
