Literally groups are about the only thing they’re good for and heck the way classic is if you aren’t minimaxed to where the content is a joke it’s even rough finding a decent raiding guild. I get it you like classic but there is a reason they didn’t make megaservers originally.
yup, multiple servers is best who cares if some of them are “dead”. some people like those servers. we could easily have like 4 servers where 80% of players are on one and the last 20% are spread across the other 3. then everyone is happy
I certainly would have preferred 1 of each type: PvE, PvP, RP, and RP-PvP.
plenty of dead Era servers to choose from, Soofikins.
from August 2019 until now, it would seem that Blizzard has learned that megaservers are the way to go, despite the protestations of a minority that – if they all gathered on a single dead server – wouldn’t even fill that server to the 2005 max.
you have no idea what the numbers are, you’re just making things up
I left Anniversary for Era. And oddly found it better over here in Era versus Anniversary.
Anniversary Fresh should have had (2) PVP servers, (1) of which could have been RP-PVP (aka the streamer server).
There’s such a negligible difference between PVE and RP that only (1) PVE server is really needed (and I’m on it).
RP-PVP is not “the streamer server” that only happened one time in SoD. it usually is the farthest from being the streamer server.
So the point of your reply is to disagree with me then admit that I am correct.
SoD is the exception that proves the rule SoD isn’t even classic, it’s an abomination.
“JUST B-B-BECAUSE THE ONLY RP-PVP SERVER IN S-S-SOD WAS THE STREAMER SERVER IN NO W-W-WAY MEANS THAT THE ONLY RP-PVP IN ANNIVERSARY FRESH (if it existed) WOULD B-B-BE THE STREAMER SERVER!1!!1!”
insisted the doofy elf doofily.
same. it truly is a better, more authentic experience
More servers = more maintenance.
More maintenance = less profits.
