A legendary that slows and does damage on top of healing the mage for 10% of their hp. Who thought this was a good idea? Let’s not forget that it absorbs half their hp.
EDIT: Clearly Blizzard agreed with me since they just posted a list of the nerfs coming for PvP and one of them was a nerf to the shield legendary. GG Boys

Don’t be the person who takes everything as 100% serious, when I say “Meanwhile every other class has 0 heals” I don’t mean litteraly every other class doesn’t have a single way to heal. Mages having a shield that is 40% of their hp while also slowing, damaging, then also healing when those shields take damage on top of iceblock being able to heal and you get caut. There is just so much survivability to a glass cannon that it isn’t even a glass cannon anymore, it’s just a cannon.
Then why say something patently absurd like that? If you want to make a post about how fire is op in pvp, have at it. But to make a post crying about a legendary that heals a squishy 10% then say “no other class has self healing but I really don’t mean that cuz I was just trying to make a point that doesn’t exist don’t call me on it bro” makes no sense. Especially on the mage forums. 
So if someone ever said “worst human being ever” or “you’re the best in the world” to you then you would take that as you are literally that thing? You have some weird social skills if you think that is how society views sarcasm. I am fine with mage having really strong burst, it is part of the glass cannon, but I am not fine with them having a 30 second cooldown and 40% hp shield that has tons of benefits on top of having an immunity that heals and a second chance at living.
If, as a DH, a mage’s shield is an issue for you, stay out of pvp.

Mages are overloaded, you disagree because you are bad and need every tool in the game to play. CC’s in multiple schools, alter, block heal, barriers for half hp, aoe root, double blink while casting, 24% bonus damage during combust (???). You’ve got your head so far in the sand it is almost laughable. Like talking to a wall, but i wouldn’t want to insult walls like that.
Mages out heal warlocks. Game is so busted and backwards it’s laughable.
“Paladins and druids can heal, even though they are hybrid classes we should have that too plus the benefits of all the barrier passives!!!”. Yikes.

Are you on the MAGE forum complaining to us about the lack of healing that NON-MAGE classes have? I’m just checking because that would be hilarious. HIGH-LARIOUS. Are you crying on every class forum and it was just our turn? Or are you genuinely upset that the class with the least healing ability of all has ANY way of defending itself?

2/3 of life once every 4 minutes that can be broken by a priest and renders the mage completely useless for 10 seconds.

Which loses the ability to break snares/stuns.

The irony here is overwhelming.
Fire is strong, borderline op, and arcane can be decent. Again, this has zero bearing on the op’s comment about no other classes having self-heals or that mages are outhealing everyone.

Brainless. Poly - arcane, Ring - frost, DB - fire. What do you interrupt against a mage to live? shimmer, DB - sheep is the most broken surefire setup in the game. There is a reason every game is mage/x/x or pal/x/x.
The point that is going over your very small head is that mages have a form of everything. Multiple classes have aoe cc that don’t have half of what mages have.
Losing stun break to blink while casting… enjoy your echo chamber. World of Magecraft is quickly becoming boring for pvpers.
You don’t even pvp but you come out to say that if a DH is struggling with mage barrier to not pvp. The irony here is overwhelming.
Only Fire can DB though.
