Which one do you prefer and why?
Low. A Low one by today’s standard would be High back in the day.
And less chance of Layers, which are tumors that should be cut out of Classic.
Medium.
That’s still a huge server, but not too huge.
I prefer Wild Growth servers. Best that there ever was.
I’d say medium to answer the question. I don’t want to be in a ghost town, but I don’t want queues or too many people fighting over mob tags either.
Mega server. If i could play nost pop at its peak, id be in heaven. 14k players per single server, all in same zone. Never gonna live that high again.
5k per side is the biggest a server should get imo. Layerless of course.
Medium. Not too big or small. Just right.
Full/High so that when the population inevitably declines as the game progresses, I don’t wind up on a dead server.
It’s a gamble either way of course. If the population doesn’t decline, I’m stuck on a Full Server with 10 layers and way too many people for all of SoD. Buuuut if the population does decline, I will always have enough people to play with.
By comparison, the people on Medium/Low Populations are gambling on the population not declining. Buuuut if it does, they wind up stuck on dead ghost town servers.
What`s so good about high population servers?, personally i find it annoying to not being able to quest without 10 people doing the same thing or well any other activity for that matter.
The main pull is the guarantee that they’ll still be there in six months once we get to Phase 4.
Pvp encounters
high. the bigger the better.
it’s “WORLD of Warcraft” not WORLDS of Warcraft.
Medium or high, and then as population declines it just gets comfy at endgame
Fair enough, pvp is fun in the rare ocation you get a fair fight.
