Meditation?

Why is the only way to use the meditation animation (outside of a couple monk abilities). A consumable scroll? Why not just let us use /meditate. Imagine if any other animation was locked behind a consumable item like that? “Scroll of Dance” or “Scroll of Wave” or “Scroll of roar” it’s silly. Please. Just wanna be able to meditate any time, any place, on any character.

Edit: The item also only stalks to 20, unlike most things that stack to 200 now.

On a related note, I kinda wish I could use my contemplation ability in a continuous loop without having to make sure I click it on the 6 second cool down. I really want it to look like my character is doing a huge thonk on the light.

i would love this.

but maybe just for monks?
maybe a afk emote for every class?
pallidans can flip through there book, warriors can sharpen there axe, warlocks can play with there little imps, mages move there flames around for fun, rogues mix poisons or flip a dagger, hunter can restring there bow or realine there scopes, deathknights always had those ground animations from the frost artifacts, druids can sprout more plants maybe, and demonhunters… can do flips?

That might be cool. But I’d like it for all classes. Plenty of folks meditate outside of monks. Maybe my death knight meditates to try and control the sadistic desires within them. My mage meditates to clear their thought to better focus on the arcane. /shrug. Idle stance for all classes would be cool. Monks could be practising martial arts on the air.

yo sorry to dig up a 3 yr old thread, but does anyone know what the scroll is called to meditate?

Scroll of Inner Truth

Puck it up at the docks in boralus harbor, down where the island adventure que table is, the npc is up a small but steep staircase right next to it.

While there are several pre-Shadowlands vendors that sell the scroll, there’s also one in Dragonflight. Jum’Flitmo in The Temporal Conflux, Thaldraszus.
