Chris Metzen himself said Tandred Proudmoore was non-canon in 2013.

The Draenorcman Shamageadin from the comics.
He was the son of Garona and Medivh, and nephew of Maraad.
And he was supposed to be the next Guardian of Tirisfal.
But a mixture of a terrible reception (people didn’t like the concept of a Draenorcman Shamageadin 
) and the fact that WC3 Medivh’s point was that the world didn’t need Guardians anymore led him to be ruled Non-Canon.
For now…
