Mechanics Function Questions

Hiya. I’m leveling up this Shaman here and I still have a couple questions about the specific behavior of two features of Resto that seem not to be particularly clear just by the description.

Chain Lightning and Chain Heal.

  1. Chain Lightning is described as having a 40 yard range, followed by jumping to 2 “additional nearby enemies”
  2. Chain Heal with the 2nd and final rank is described as a 40 yard range, followed by three most injured “nearby” allies

What is unclear is the targeting behavior of these jumps. Chain heal in particular.

  • Does it have a specific radius from the original target and merely draw a chain visually from most to least?
  • Does it prioritize more injured targets first with the first jumps?
  • Does each jump cause a reset in range and start searching for the next target from that spot?
  • What is the range on these checks?

Next question is a bit more straightforward.

Deep Healing

  • Is it a straight line? heal+mastery %*target’s missing HP %
  • Or is it more complicated, like having a different maximum heal threshold of 20% target hp remaining or some such, or a non-linear heal increase rate?
