Made my night elf hunter and taught her how to tame mechanicals. Over 12,000g later, I realized the option to trap them is not there. Even went back to the auction house to check if I learned how to tame mechanical beasts by looking it up, which said already known. Also is there an Easter way to track that mechanical rabbit in tinker town. Can’t seem to find it.
Do you mean trapping as in using Freezing Trap? Or to tame them?
You mean tracking in a general sense of using your mini map to have npcs show up as green, yellow and/or red golden dots? If so, you have a hunter hunting tracking ability to track mechanicals when you learn your imprint maxtrix for mechanicas.
Weaponized Rabbot is just south of the building in Crushcogs Arsenel. It doesn’t have a large wandering path so you just have to wait for it to respawn.
Do you mean “option to tame them”? The ability to tame mechanicals is the same as any other tameable target - have space in your pet list, target it, hit the Tame spell.
Assuming you have the ability to tame mechanicals unlocked, as you said you have.
Your autocorrect is being very creative (: I assume you mean “easier way to track” regarding the mechanical rabbit: “Located in Chill Breeze Valley, Dun Morogh. On the south side of Crushcog’s Arsenal.” Just make a macro for Weaponized Rabbot and wander around the area using it until it targets for you. You may need to wait if it has been tamed or killed recently.
Yeah even after learning to tame mechanicals, it does t give me the option to track them. Believe me I looked.

I actually just got it. Still don’t understand why it won’t let me track them but I’m very happy right now.

It “should”. Relog, reload, maybe yell at the game.
My hunter has the ability, never noticed it until now.
Log off the character completely. Log back on and check again.
My hunters have it on their Tracking list.
