Mechanic burnout

I would say mechanic bloat is kinda getting out of hand. But to expand on that, the amount of 1 shot mechs are getting really really annoying and redundant.

I have been 1 shot more times this expansion more times than I have been 1 shot in years. It is just getting ridiculous. You can blame some of that on the classes I play sure ( enh sham / bm hunter ) but my god 1 mistake and your dead mechs are everywhere. On trash. On 5 man dungeons. In raids. Just everywhere and very numerous…

I am not saying we should not have 1 shot mechs, im just saying they should have their time and place. Not everywhere for everything…

Take the thundering debuff / buff for example. Sometimes it will spawn during another mech that requires you to spread out. What do you do? Take a risk of blowing up a teammate or killing yourself? That is the kind of mech bloat that I cannot understand. Sometimes you have no choices, no counterplay, just die…

Its no better for melee I am afraid. We are constantly dancing our buts off. In and out, side to side, constant movements…really annoying to dps.

The mech bloat and 1 shot mechanics really need to be scaled back a bit. It is just to much…

Oh yeah. Mechanic overkill - I know some people love constantly new and evolving challenges. I come hereto unwind, not feel stress.

WA and mods have push blizz to a spot that the only way they can make content a challenge is to make it harder to heal, with a miss of a kick or mechanic its them that have to cover it.

This also pushed groups into heavy melee comps just for the short kicks and they can keep dps up with all movement and OVER KILL of sworls. Its like a carpet bomb each pull.

Let the L33tUS push super high keys, it hurts no one and gives them a false sense of something.

I like a good challenge … I’m disappointed with the lack of creativity. Dodging things on the ground is the go-to for adding to M+ and it’s a little frustrating.

I like how in RLP they added the dragons on the upper level (A+ for whoever thought that up). They could give bosses/trash new abilities, add mini-bosses, modify the dungeon in some way, and things like that? This is all off the cuff and I’m sure a group of people who give a $#%^ could come up with better.

Yeah I can empathize. Maybe the solution is to stagger mechanics as you go up on key level like how thundering only starts at key 10. Maybe lower the number mechanics between 1-10 keys and then 10-15s will be the next step. 16 plus keys will contain full mechanics

I understand your frustration, but also sense your jealously for people pushing high keys lol. You are playing wow, we all are playing to achieve something meaningless like gear, mounts, cosmetics etc

Not even, I would have to care to have jealously. I pushed realm first is the past and so on. Wasted time. I care more about the state of the game and the lack of FUN that blizz keeps deleting

The last boss of RLP is definitely mechanics heavy.

The wind that constantly pushes you, the fire pools on the ground that are moving in the direction of the wind, the fire dragon’s breath, the guy’s interrupting shout where u have to cancel ur cast to not get silenced, and then combine it with thundering. It’s def one of the worst fights for a caster.

All classes should get a double tab a key for dodging.
All cast times of casters should be half or none, doing less damage of course. Cast times are archaic design.

Vexamus (bomb, soak, and puddle)
Tree (tree, flower puddle, flower)
Melidrusa (Ice puddle, Ice tornado, Ice whelps)
Kokia (Rolly ball, elemental spawn, elemantal explosion)
Telash (Ice bombing puddle, Ice spread, Dome)
Granyth (AoE, add, balista)

Your old content is nonexistent too. You have zero Cutting Edges, your mounts from Wrath were earned in the last couple years. Your opinion is about as useful as any other troll lol

Understandable, I will literally run the same mythic plus dungeon several times in a row… Just so I do not have to think of anything new
