So I was questing through mechagon and I got stuck on the quest to contribute to a construction project because nothing was available and there was nothing left to do in mechagon and I never got the quest to do the dungeon. What should I do about this?

I got that quest too. I ignored it because I saw the invasion in Voldun for the 400+ cache.
I will wee what I can figure out tonight after work.
The dungeon isn’t open yet, and there’s not much to do in Mechagon at the moment. Chances are you’ve done nothing wrong and you’ve just got to wait until something becomes available.

I think the dungeon opens with season 3 in 2ish weeks. I am just curious if there will be more dallies each day or if it is like the blood elf island in BC where more done opens up more dallies.

Both constructions were available to contribute to this morning. The amount of resources needed won’t have them up to use anytime soon.
Go talk to the person who gave you the quest. She’ll tell you where there’s one available to donate to.

Icons on the map would be nice. I made the mistake of finding and contributing to one, and then heading back and finding out there was a quest for it. By the time I got back to the project, it was already done.
Aah well, I’ll get it done later today maybe.
On a side note, I’m amused by the paint jets.
Nope, the dungeon opening changes nothing. Did you not do the PTR? There is 2 world quests per day in Mechagon, that’s it.

Nope, I didn’t bother with the PTR. I guess this is basically all there is for Mechagon then?
Other than the Mythic only dungeon, yes. You’ve experienced all Mechagon content now. It’s a very shallow zone.

So like the original poster i got to the point of getting the quest collaborative construction to help with one. Did it then see no more quests anywhere. This surly cant be all there is to do here? I flew around everywhere with the pack thats pretty fun but i mean i only killed a few rares and i literally did what i feel like is nothing after getting the punch card trinket. Am i missing something? I also did not get any quest for the dungeon thats not out or anything like that but i see nothing on my map and have no quests currently so im just confused.
You have to find quests. There’s one for instance on a hillside to kill some ravens, you’d never know about it unless you were on the hillside. Killing rares will sometimes give blueprints, and those are turn-in quests for that robot that creates items based on random parts. Things like this are what this zone is supposed to be; not standard story quests.

ok that makes since because i did all those to get the parts and stuff it just seemed like there was no way that was all it was. Guess it is lol
They do show up if you get close, but by that point you’ve just about stumbled right on top of them anyway.

It’s a collective effort event like broken shore or warfront contribution. But a lot more local and much more immediate.
So, Type in chat “anyone want do this building? There’s a quest I need done.” Or something like that. Wait around will work too.
Not sure how it work with group finder. But I imagine a 5 man group should have enough resource ready.
The only quest I am aware of that is related to the dungeon is the one that pops up at revered. That’s only needed if your chasing the meta achievement to get your cycle mount.
Once the dungeon opens in two weeks or so, you just put a group together and head in, I believe?
There should be about 6 dailies, however, not all are picked up in Rustbolt. You need to look around. There are a couple more coming and some that aint so obvious but exist anyway.
