Just out of curiosity, some days the elite mobs in this area are non-elite. What makes that so?
There’s a certain machine around that can be activated and make it rain, it’s where Mr. Fixthis spawns. They get weakened because they rust.

You can tell the difference both by whether it’s raining and in the names of the mobs, although there may be some non-rain mobs still up right after the rain starts.
The non-rain, elite mobs (indicated by the gold dragons around their portraits) are called “Annodized Gizmo”.
The rain, non-elite mobs are called “Corroded Gizmo.”
