Mechagon is too UGLY

Why did they make Mechagon so ugly? Who wants to wade through heaps of trash or be covered in gross oil? They could have made it anything and they decided to go with UGLY.

Gnomegeron looks better and it’s a nuclear wasteland.

I think Mechagon’s alright in terms of looks. For me, it’s kind of like “The Future of Engineering.”

We definitely need a belf patch, nothing but heaps of the finest satin pillows and drapes!

What? YES! I like how satin burns. How did you know I like to burn inflamable things?

It would have been nice if Rustbolt had gotten the Shal 'Aran treatment, where over the course of a questline you turn it from a broken-down cobweb-infested dump into someplace fit for habitation.

If you’re talking about the interior of Mechagon itself, I liked what little of it we get to see. I’m just disappointed we aren’t able to explore more of the actual city.

They are not for burning!

We will also be installing runways for the fashion shows.

Yeah instead we tour a garbage dump, that looks just like the garbage dump outside. I get the idea that mechagnomes idea of someplace fit for haibtation is to dump mecha-trash everywhere.

I actually loved mechagon. Yes it was grimy and grity on the outside but that was kind of the point-- they’re engineers who recycle garbage in interesting ways. On the inside it was a posh art noveau metropolis.

A belf update would be nice but gnomes and goblins needed this imo.

I agree. I was very disappointed that all we saw was the garden :frowning:

Will there be an area for me to have a little booth for cookies and other bake treats?

I mean, looks a lil better than Naz. So there’s that I guess.

Someone ask King Mechagon to requisition some mirrors for placement in Mechagon, for this dude, to cheer him up.

Your request has been accepted.

Inside Mechagon looks amazing. Like, the city inside the Dungeon. I wish that was represented in the Island. In fact, I wish that more of the Island looked like that, or that there was at least an equal amount of undamaged city available to world questing and daily questing.

It’s such a pity they put all that work into the dungeon and we never get to actually explore the zone they built for the most part. It would be really cool if it was like the Molten Front, where the world around the island evolved as we progressed the rep and story line.

Is it really?

Just give me an Eastern Kingdoms sized continent that’s all like Eversong. I’d never leave.

Everything gnome related is trash because gnomes are trash. Not meant to be ironic or sarcastic, there’s literally nothing worse about WoW than gnomes existing in it. Fite me.

Thats half a Silvermoon right now, though.

I mean, yeah … we break in through the Trash System; but once you get to actual Mechagon City its actually pretty cool. It feels a lot more like a hodgepodge mix of Bioshock and Dwemer construction. It definitely differs from Gnomergon aesthetics, but it is definitely gnomish. The most disappointing part about Mechagon is how little of the actual city we get to explore on our little raid to the king.

I mean, that’s kind of the point of being exiled rebels…you don’t get to have all the nice things anymore and you have to make-do with the scraps and junk thrown out in the trash. :woman_shrugging:t4: I’d definitely love to see a Molten Front type of progression though. No reason why we shouldn’t be able to spruce up the island a bit once the king is dead.
