Ok, Im not really understanding the Mechagon Charging station that is in the Bondo’s yard. I have the unlocked the Personal time Displacer but dont have any. I have all the mats but the Energy cell. I have plenty of Empty Energy cells but when I talk to the NPC at the Charging Station, I get told the Charging Station is down. I read that I can pay in Spare Parts to use the Charging Station, but cant seem to figure out how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Another silly time gate - it is only randomly available (the NPC will ask for Spare Parts to let you use it), and when it is, you can charge your cells.
Other times it isn’t available and you get to wait till it is.

Its only up every couple of days.
When its up, be sure you’re there to help supply it with Spare Parts, otherwise you’ll be charged a fee every time you use it.

When you go to contribute to construction if you select energy cell it basically automatically fills your empty cells up to contribute for future reference.

Thanks for the update. I wasnt to do the quests in the alternate universe but couldnt since I didnt have a displacer and didnt have the mats to get one. Guess I get to wait till the station is up again. UGH
Yeah, you had like one chance(that I’ve seen) to contribute to the construction. Maybe it cycles weekly?
And with only 3 charges, weekly would make sense. But, that would be a horrible set up.
The fee is once off. Thereafter it’s free during that cycle.

Other than the parts, you need a single battery cell to actually power up the charging station and you can freely use it for 2 hours before you need to do it again.

Today after daily reset I noticed an event going on at the Charger, all these mobs were rushing it so I helped AOE them down. Clicking on the charger demanded I pay for it’s use with a Charged Battery - which I didn’t have obviously (that’s why I was there?)
Then suddenly everything poofed and there’s no charger now. This thing makes no sense. Garbage system, IMO.

It’s randomly available. I suggest that you charge every empty cell you have when it’s up.
If you show up after the charging station has been built, you can pay 250 spare parts and one charged energy cell to gain access to the station for the next two hours. This works even if it gets blown up and rebuilt.
Alternatively you can wait until it’s in the rebuilding phase, then you can pay just 250 spare parts and gain the two hour buff that way.
The charging station isn’t up all the time. And when it is a project of the day, it routinely gets blown up by angry troggs. After a short time has passed, it will become available again, so just keep checking throughout the day.

I’m at the charging station, its built I see people using it but I can’t use it for some reason, there’s no quest. The npc next to it only have 2 bubbles: “Tell me about the Charging Station.” and “You charge too much! This is extortion!”. Is there some prerequisite quest I need to do before? (I have 924 spare parts and 2 energy cells in my bags)

Charged 85 of them today. Have a feeling these are going to be trash parts fairly quickly.
