So why did engineers not get the items that the junkyard tinker can make? I feel like everything he makes is something engineers should have had from the start.
It feels kinda bad man to see all of the signature items that this profession was meant to give, just handed out to everyone else.
Yeah! Is there anything exclusive to engineers in Mechagon? It seems like engineering is completely irrelevant, which doesn’t make sense to me.
We better be getting a craftable jet pack mount, that thing’s fun.
They got a goldmine for next expansion, all this cool stuff from mechagon, maybe some old stuff from engineering, some new crafts, combine that all in a fun tinker class that can fly around with a jetpack and shoot lasers or flamethrowers, throw bombs and maybe build turrets.
You need to get exalted to BUY the blingtron recipe.
Can’t have other professions being on par with Alchemy. That’s a big no no.
I choose to believe that the increasing irrelevance of the engineering profession is intentional because tinkers are about to become a thing.
We better keep at least something in 9.0. Engi needs new toys and explosives. Stun bombs making a return would be rad.
Well… as engineer you can destroy dead robot mobs to get extra resources.

Yeah, I guess. Bling 7k, pretty much worthless Ub3r spanner, and one of the ugliest mounts in the game. blizz hates eng. Have since cata. its merely a glider/toy/mount factory anymore.
Gone are the days where they had fun aspects of the profession.
omg 1 extra scrap! SO beneficial!..or i could of killed another mob in that time and made liek 5times as much

ONLY reason I made it was to lvl my engineering.
Weird, I remember, and have, cool mounts from MoP, and guns, etc…on my hunter. But really after WoD, they pretty much deleted crafting profs.

Eng USE to have good stuff.
trinkets, gear slot items w/use effects, cog gems, etc etc.
and guns are literally a recent adition again. they remvoed them for 2 entire xpacs iirc.
All professions are mostly irrelevant and have been since WoD. This would have been a perfect time to do something for engineers but I really don’t think they are capable of intriguing design anymore.
You could make guns in WoD, so you don’t recall. Legion had weapons covered by artifacts, so yeah…
Even stranger that it’s Gallywix spelled backwards.
Because then they’d lack incentive to do the content/get the recipes for that guy.
