Mechagnomes need a fully mechanized option

So the overall reaction is that Mechagnomes are pretty underwhelming, especially compared to Vulpera who had a lot of detail poured into their development. One of the things I can’t help but overlook is a lack of customization for Mechagnomes.

Playing through Mechagon, the core of their story is supposed to be about the freedom to choose how enhanced they want to be. However there is no option to keep one arm or leg bionic and the other organic. There’s also no option to go fully mechanized. I feel like the allied race fantasy is sort of missed in implementation. I think the reception of Mechagnomes would be a lot better if Blizzard added a few more options on both the organic and fully mechanized spectrum of customization.

Duh, that’s the only cool option. Full mecha you’re pretty much robot, current ones are just creepy, torso and head with metal parts.

And easy to make it make sense, just have prince reprogram some of the fully mechanized gnomes, boom.

After scrapping thin Kul’tirans and not at least making KT paladins, I’ll keep shimmer of hope they listen to playerbase on full robot option, but I doubt they will. Another missed opportunity with allied race, could’ve been epic, will be least played like KTs.

I would prefer less floating head and wearing diapers.

I would have like to see them implemented with the option to have 1 or 2 or 3 or all 4 limbs be mechanical, not be forced to have them all be mechanical. Not sure i can roll one how they are now but i haven’t been able to mess around with them yet.

It’s much harder to pull off though, with mogs and all that.
If you had to choose, would you rather take full-mecha option, or to be able to choose which limb will have robot parts?

Considering those are the ones that are drones we fight against, it makes sense to not have this option.

The real issue is that these aren’t actual Mechagnomes. This is some bastardized version that has nothing to do with the Titan creations.

A lot of detail? Have you seen all the customizations options you get in the PTR on one? Don’t claim the foxes get more detail, they are cute but mechas get loads of different options

Also: Would be cool if you are a mecha engineer and could make more parts for yourself

Full mecha. I assume the original fantasy for most people ws playing something comparable to the mechagnomes in WotLK

I would rather choose which limbs will have robot parts. With all mechanical parts they look creepy and THAT is why i am not sure i can roll one. I currently have 5 or 6 gnomes and was looking forward to Mechagnomes…now i am not so sure. The transmog thing is a bit worry some.

In all honesty i have been away from looking at them since the announcement so i am not fully aware of all options, but they better at least have an appearance with opposable thumbs or i almost definitely won’t be able to play one. It would be game breakingly dumb for me if they don’t have limbs with opposable thumbs because well they are necessary to make life work…anything in life.

I mean it does make sense if you just add a little part where after King Mechagon is defeated, prince and his gnomes reprogram fully Mecha ones. Also gives good RP story, you were a King Mechagon’s servant, and now you’re trying to figure out what to do.

So wait, you want the racials but wanna be a regular gnome! I’m on to you!

It’s the heritage armor. It makes you full mech.

It still shows the neck, and you all look the same with heritage armor, whilst the regular options let you pick rust and so.

The gear is so large on that heritage armor helmet, it looks like it would annihilate the head of anyone wearing it.

Lol, no no, nothing like that, but i think if you had the choice of the number of limbs that were mechanical (minimum 1 at LEAST) then it not only offers more diversity in choice for the characters but also doesn’t make them all creepy floating heads.

Even if they made it a minimum of 2, that would be acceptable. I mean i just think that giving them the OPTION is important and also it would show that not all mechagnomes are in the same spot as far as their progression.

You should check out the Heritage armor.

They basically look like the full robots that you have to kill.

Heritage armor for mechagnomes allows you to wear armor reminiscent of the fully mechanized versions. The helmet to be specific is pretty much the same.

Their heritage armor is full mechanic…

Which is perfect, making it locked behind those who put a little effort into it.

Yeah but the problem with just the hertiage armor as fully mechanized options is that its only one skin tone right now (gold) .

If there where multiple headpieces and colors then I might agree with you guys.

Lol, mechagnomes are low investment high pay off.
Vulpera might have more time into them idk but they are just reskinned goblins.

Kul Tirans have the most love poured into them of any allied race though

Equip the floot-tooters tunic to cover your neck.

I would also not object to recolors.
