They both look terrible in armor, but mail armor is trash tier appearance anyway soooo

Transmog wise youll have it harder on MG.
But both fit fairly well.

the new SL mail sets are actually quite good, except Venthyr, which looks gross.
The cosmetic side of things will always just depend on what YOU find attractive; so it’s subjective. But if you want to look at performance, Mechagnomes are slightly ahead for most classes; they have strong racials.
Mail isn’t that bad. You can make pretty cool sets by mixing pieces.
yeah, agreed. Mechagnomes don’t have many xmog options.
Worgen look OK in most things, as long as you hide the helm. Shoulders are sometimes crazy large, but there are many options.
Yep, you can make some pretty good looking mogs with a bit of creativity, but people just want to use a full set.
Go MG. They have better stats. As for transmog, just do what I did:

Going with the heritage armor is lazy but at least you’ll look good.
I have plenty of Hunters in unique mogs so I’m not going to rack my brain trying to dress a diaper gnome with metal arms and legs.

A worgen using anything but its claws to fight just seems so weird to me. So, go gnome with machine guns.

PampersGnomes are a joke, a bad one, and compare to worgens (one of the coolest race in this game)… well Sir I will call it shenanigans.

The Kyrian mail set actually looks really good on Worgen.
Go worgen 100%. You can mount in the maw as worgen so your life will be much much easier there.

Ok it’s quite obvious that the op has gotten into the elf wine.
Why would you be anything else other than a Dwarf hunter?
My go to for Mechagnome is pretty much hide everything but their exclusive tabard + goggles (which mail characters have the non engineer Steamworkers Goggles from Ulduar).

There are also other benefits. Worgen have a move speed racial and Running Wild can be used in the Maw. On the other hand if you don’t have a Rogue MGs can open lockboxes.
Another thing about Worgen they Skin faster, so if youre doing Skinning/Leatherworking, its a nice advantage.
