Think i might finally unlock Mechagnomes once i return for 9.2 to make one in honor of Tik-Tok (from Oz, not the Ke$ha song or the zoomer app!).

Thatās wonderful! I love Tik-Tok from Oz. Clockworth is inspired by Tik-Tok.
Now if only I could have copper/bronze/brass/rusty/gold/steel facial hair.

We tried to keep it going but I think most of us drifted away from WoW with how things were going.
I assure you though I have continued my research and development of my robotic defense drones.
Using Kyrian smithing techniques I developed my K.I.R.I.N. model of defense drone and integrated all my other advancements into its much sturdier frame. Its been a massive upgrade over the D.A.W.G. and H.O.W.L. units.
Also I hear there are directed energy weapons in Zereth Mortis and I am excited to make an expedition to recover a few for experimentation.

Not directly WoW-related, but the new Hearthstone expansion features a mechagnome inventor as one of the main characters. Her name is Ini Stormcoil, and she is glorious! This is the art for her card:

The attention to detail is amazing! I love the screwdriver staff (NEED in-game), the deployable lobster tail skirt, and the mechanical toes that extend into flippers.
Some other Hearthstone characters have made it into WoW, so I hope Ini does, too!

Sorry to ask this but I want to fully immerse myself as I level a character but I do not know what class fits mechagnomes! Can yāall give me a few classes that might fit mechagnome. I thought about shadow priest but idk?

Sure! I got some ideas.
- Warriors, you can never go wrong with them. Whether you protect or get angry, a Mechagnome knows his weapons as much as he knows his tools attached to its limbs.
- Priests, literal field medics. Shadow Priests are a bit unorthodox but ever since the events of NāZoth, the existance of them is plausible.
- Hunters, literal deadeyes and Coaxial represent. They make very deadly guns. My Kaldorei Hunter uses a sniper rifle made from Mechagon. You can also tame mechanical beasts.
- Mages and Warlocks, technology can emulate magic. Your imaginations can reach sky high for this one.
ā¦ and my personal favorite.
- Death Knights. You are LITERALLY a Killing Machine. A terminator. Much like Mages and Warlocks, you can also go wild. I know a Mechagnome Death Knight that use Nanites fused with Shadow Magic. Thatās pretty metal.

Iāll mostly mirror Locutus here but happily!!
All our classes have good fittings like any good toolset but letās get into some ideas!
Warriors:
Every group has their warriors and ours are mechanically empowered! Ever think gnomes battling tauren was odd? Not when you have a power arm!
Technological warriors can be an amazing dream to play! (mine is a brain in a jar attached to hundreds of mechagnome robot platforms, which is why he canāt die.)
Rogues:
Thieves from the scrap yard or intelligence officers of the Mechagon military, thereās a lot you can do here.
Technological cloaking and blades hidden in every little compartment! What could go wrong? (mine is a procurement specialist. Sheās a thief. She steals. Thatās where she procures thingsā¦)
Hunter:
It me!
Hunters can be anything from sharpshooters to robot deploying Frontline soldiers. Our ability to tame mechanicals out the gate gives us plenty of that technological flair and Iāve made a tech reasoning for every ability I use. (even have a few macros to replace the icons.)
Coaxial here is a strategist and Robotic inventor who studies all sorts of magic to improve his tech.
Mages:
Magic and tech go together like water and living carbon based lifeforms! You just cannot go wrong here. Technomagical breakthroughs are always a joy!
Mine is a scientist trying to catalogue the species and races of the world.
Warlock:
Same thing really but you can be for power and understanding of magics most would fear!
One of my friends was one and I miss them dearly. They were trying to unlock the secrets of fel reaversā¦
My own warlock was a bureaucratic policy making jerk in Mechagon.
Priest:
Medics! Using and studying the light or void or both to use those powers to heal or occasionally destroy!
For Mechagnomes all magic is science and all of it is on the table, so donāt shy from the void anymore than you embrace the Light!
My own is a doctor and field medic to specializes in melding the void and Light.
Monk:
Every race should have these, but a mechagnome spin can be similar to a warrior. Technologically strengthened limbs makes punching down doors a breeze, and study of the element of spirit can further empower them.
Death Knights:
Who doesnāt enjoy undead robots slaughtering their enemies?
Look even the Lich King can find a use for our improved design, thereās not much you need to worry about when youāre made of metal and your biology doesnāt need to function.
