I am very unhappy and dismayed.
I had posted asking about which class to play as Mechagnome, and yet no one warned me at all…
I didn´t even think to try using “Hyper Organic Light Originator” until almost level 20. When I did, I found that the duplicates rush your enemy target, completely giving away my actual position, since I am a mage.
Dear fellow players: If I am correct, then Blizzard has done a very lousy job of implementing this ability for caster classes. I STRONGLY suggest not playing caster classes as Mechagnome, since their racial passive Duplicate ability will charge headlong into enemies, and leave you completely open to the enemy.
Where do I go to post suggestions to Blizzard? Sometimes there are very irritating overlooks this company makes that need to be made clear to them…
They take aggro for you. And mechagnomes have so much nice racials they are low key op.
You should take a look at the Nightborne racials for physical damage dealers if you think that is bad.
Nightborne for melee is useless.

I hear you both. But at this point, I just want to get the word to to as many people as possible.
I believe in min/maxing, and am into details. I sincerely hope Blizzard takes action to fix racials or passives that arent up to par, but I’m not holding my breath.

Don’t many spell leave from the casters hand and hit the enemy? Meaning I could follow where the spells are coming from

why exactly is it unique to mechagnomes that they’re bad for casters? not all races are designed equal in mind.
over half of all active racials aren’t useful for 1 or the other.

What you should do is cast Mirror Image and that ability at the same time

Inside the game, you can click escape key, then help button, and “submit suggestions.” Although I think that could be like a black hole. That might be a bug, so you could send a bug report also.

I can recognize a black hole when i see it. I’m a master after seeing many of my ex’s. And the bug report and submit suggestion is indeed a blackhole that blizzard ignores.

I agree, racials don’t matter, and if a .5% difference of racial is what made you beat the next mythic raid boss, then i wouldnt be celebrating lol.
as far as DPS goes, yes. but overall racials are a significant advantage in pve and pvp.

Lol… there are many bad racials in this game. The solution would be to put them all in a big pool and let the player pick the ones they want.

The different racials do make a difference. A big one. The fact that this racial isnt more intuitive for casters practically destroys that passive’s chances in PVP if I chose a caster class for Mechagnome.
