It’s this. Things that were specific to a previous expansion and removed in a later expansion get converted into gold at the time the player logs in, not at the time the expansion change happens. So they aren’t actually in the mail system until much later.
The mail that deletes in 30 days is generally stuff that players have mailed to each other, or auction house mail.
I quit right after BfA came out. Logged back in for the first time right after Blizzcon. I’m enjoying myself with the story. I know I’m not going to be pushing progression and with that mindset I’m actually quite enjoying it…much more than I thought I would have. At least it gives me something to do between raid logging in classic.
This is so incredibly unappealing to me it makes me not want to play and be a little angry. Its exactly like all my app games. I’m tired of WoW having reasons that you need to play now. Its why I quit in legion. And although the expansion looks good, it’s why I won’t buy it. Its still an app game.
Pretty sure the mob scaling is going to stay. Pretty sure after levels 1- 10 in the starting zones you will be able to go 10-50 in any of the other expansion zones or something (which makes me wonder if they will have a level range for each expansion or will it be like ESO where you can level up in any zone even if it used to be only a higher level one).
Old talent trees, sure
personal loot, in organized raiding remove it yes, in pugs, hell no, best thing ever
sharding, could take it or leave it, barely notice it
LFR, funds my raiding, it can stay
People act like one thing killed wow, but if people don’t play now it’s very personal to them why they don’t.
True but if it follows scaling in BFA then you won’t ever feel any gain in power via gear till you hit the Shadowlands expansion and hit the ilvl where you start feeling some power gain.
Though I am more worried about how they will do the old dungeon and raid scaling. Will they be set to a specific max level like it is in BFA currently or will all of them be able to scale up to 50/60?
I mean, with heirlooms you don’t feel power gain but if you don’t use them you do.
And that remains to be seen, i don’t think i care either way honestly, i just random queue.
Funny story though, I actually died more leveling 110-120 with heirlooms then leveling 1-60 in classic… you lack so much stam the game assumes you have
