Pve servers sound so chonchy
I see a slight increase in hordies with a yellow nametag. I see a slight increase in green nametags on allies.
Other than that, I don’t need to worry about getting ganked in questing, or corpserunning to instance portals.

this. PVP is going on there 24/7 on westfall. said it before but i think PVE realms are better for world PVP then the PVP realms. who knew?

Neither does staying on a PvP server your faction is the minority on and getting GY camped at all hours of the day.
The most ironic part is watching people who complain about pvp servers get told they should have rolled on pve servers. Then you have people that come to threads like this one about PVE servers and grief the people who actually did roll on pve servers.

There’s a certain portion of the pvp playerbase that causes people to hate pvpers, all they do all day is come in and call pve players “bunch of carebears, go back to your my little pony server”, it’s like a certain appendage is so small all they can do is try to belittle people

Yeah, I’m on a PvE server for that reason. I love to PvP, but to me, ganking is a separate thing. I’ll fight someone close to my level if they’re flagged, and I won’t corpse camp them.

Plenty of wpvp, it’s just optional whether you want it or not.
Bloodsail Alliance defended a barn against an onslaught of horde for a full day until the Horde gradually gave up and left. I didn’t take part in it as PvP turns me into a mountain of salt, but I read and watched guild chat/server discord. I like to watch PvP, especially duels outside of IF, but I’m not the player to take part in it.
Meanwhile everyone’s PvPing, I’m taking advantage of otherwise contested farming spots with no competition.
At least take me out to dinner first 
Congrats, you chose wisely for your play style! Unfortunately for us on PvP servers, there’s a lot of players like you who should be on PvE servers, but for some reason they rolled on PvP servers, only to complain about being PvP’d on… a PvP server. They can dress it up how they want, but ultimately, that’s what it boils down to, and they refuse to accept that fact.

Yep. The real PvPers would be rerolling alliance on heavily horde dominated servers.

I used to be a pvp snob in vanilla but as far as I am concerned this go around pve stands for servers that Please Virtually Everyone.

PvP realms are on fire and PvE realms are going about their usual business. Whichever you prefer, at least I can still fish peacefully in STV.

PvE servers are the best. PvP servers are for gankers, griefers, and no lifers who like to use every possible consumable, engi item, and gear advantage to win vs someone.
On pve servers, world pvp is happening when poeple want it to, and everyone is having a good time.

Phase 2, not much, maybe some NPC quest giver killing here and there.
